With the release of the Wii MotionPlus, Nintendo has apparently placed how-to videos with applicable games to instruct its customer base on how to attach the accessory. Destructoid took the opportunity to upload the video, which walks a fine line between airplane emergency video and a tape that would be played in "health" class.
Dtoid notes that the real horror is that once the three-minute video starts ... there's no way to exit (not even the glorious Wiimote's Home button will save you). So, if you really need to know how to shove, slide and thread your components inside the Wii prophylactic, please feel free to watch the video after the break.
I like the ergonomics of the Wiimote Condom, but eventually I kept it off completely because I switch between the incompatible M+ and the Nyko Kama receiver. Then I got a rash in a special place.
Please tell me you can take the MotionPlus out of the condom, 'cause like HELL I'm going to go through all that crap every time I have to change the batteries! Nintendo should have put an opening in the back of the condoms so you didn't have to remove it to change batteries.
Screw the condom anyway. As one of the original generation of Wii owners I still believe in playing unprotected. Just because my Wii has got some corrective plastic surgery doesn't mean I'll be using any other condoms. It just doesn't feel the same using a condom for my Wii.
I love how the video only shows it with only the condom on. Early adopter here, and I don't have one, nor do I intend on getting one. And if I end up getting the motionplus (basically, only if they make a new zelda using it. Or a lightsaber game) and its unable to come out of that thing (which the video seems to show, cant be sure though), out comes the scissors.
