Poor Madworld. I was showing that to a friend of mine yesterday. What a fun game.

220k and running. It could wind up the best-selling game that studio ever put out, at least until Bayonetta rolls along

... So far, it's the best of two. :P That's not a lot to brag about. Bob's Game is going to be the most successful game Bob ever makes, for example. :P

@Roto13

It will be better than games the studio put out when they were called Clover. Better than Viewtiful Joe or Okami, for instance.

It's good, but not Okami good. Better than Viewtiful Joe 2 at least. I suppose it's on par with God Hand if you want to talk cross-genre.

I think the problem was advertising. I don't remember seeing any advertising for this game anywhere.

But is it actually good? I was interested in this at first, but then I wasn't, and now I'm not sure...

I hope the Japanese buy games better than Americans do.

It got like a 36 or 38 or something (out of 40) in Famitsu.

That's pretty weak for a top-selling game, though.

And, supposedly, it achieved the feat in only two days. However, it does seem like a rather low number to top the charts.

Yes. It's good to see them have a success after so many failures as Clover (and that one as Platinum Games) despite releasing so many quality games. :P I'll be buying this as soon as it's in English.

So many failures as Clover 'cause people are lame and don't like awesome games like Viewtiful Joe. 8[

Wow nice to see some new screens for this game. This will definitely be a niche title, but “niche” on the ubiquitous DS is a relative term. The only thing that makes me cringe a little are those anime dudes. I was kind of hoping it would be ship-oriented—I really don’t want a lame, cheeseball anime story sitting n top of the game. If there’s good gameplay, though, I can forgive it.

I’m about due for a new DS game; just about finished with FFIV. Any suggestions? I was thinking GTA:CW, FF3, Chrono Trigger, or Etrian Odyssey 2 (liked the first).

Get GTA:CW. It's awesome.

I'm sure the other games you mention are good too but in the case of GTA:CW, the Metacritic score (it's top of the DS list) doesn't lie...

GTA:CW is quite good. If you enjoyed Etrian Odyssey then perhaps The Dark Spire, also published by Atlus, would be up your alley. Of course if you have never played Chrono Trigger the decision is obvious...

Will Infinite Space be released outside of Japan? The graphic style caught my eye months ago and I've been waiting for it.
