Max Payne 3 allegedly gets European release date, Rockstar disagrees

We followed up with Rockstar Games -- the publisher -- and a representative stated it hasn't announced a release date. In fact, all the rep could do was refer us to the corporate announcement that the game was coming this winter. If things change, we'll be sure to update.

You know when I first heard the new Max Payne would feature a harder edge more cynical Max, I laughed because well...how the hell is that possible?
Well damn it they pulled it off! And all it took was some spaghetti sauce, a beard, and a shaved head.

Play shoudn't be trusted for future game dates. Ever. They constantly change, I've seen it many a time.

They also claim Gran Turismo 5 is coming out this year and that it was Sony that told them so.

I remember James Armstrong from SCEE saying that Gran Turismo will come out this holiday in Europe.

@eNrique: They also mentioned Heavy Rain in the same sentence as a 2009 title and we know for a fact it's coming out 2010.
We'll have to wait and see I suppose.
