I loved SimEarth on PC. I can't think that I would like to play it with a d-pad, though.

I have the SNES original, the d-pad controls are amazingly convoluted and it takes a while to get it all figured out.

How different is the TG version of Sim Earth? The SNES one is arguably the most un-playable game I own. Still love it though for being so eccentric.
