Enough with Pearl Jam. I get it. They are well liked. Please. Diversify. Like I said earlier this week: Streetlight Manifesto. Please.
MarkHawk @ Jun 22nd 2009 11:56PM
I agree with the Manifesto.
Skaz @ Jun 23rd 2009 3:10AM
Drum parts be insane but the guitar parts are nigh non existant. I wouldnt mind screamin through moment of silence on the xbox though.
MrSpaceCowboy @ Jun 22nd 2009 11:04PM
Great!
Now if anyone asks, I'll say I was going to download Pearl Jam but slipped and downloaded Maroon 5 'accidentally'.
Markez @ Jun 22nd 2009 11:13PM
This is a love song I wrote...
...about my...
about my surfboard...
huh huh huh
ryanpaulmcgowan @ Jun 22nd 2009 11:23PM
Still no Yellow Ledbetter.
Sigh.
That's the only Pearl Jam song I really want at this point.
Nick @ Jun 23rd 2009 12:21AM
Given To Fly, Brain of J, Vs., Daughter, Go... lots more awesome stuff that needs to come.
Mind, I know songs like Given and Brain are a little bit less varied with regards to the instruments... but hell, I still WANT 'EM.
ryanpaulmcgowan @ Jun 23rd 2009 1:52AM
That's cool.
Yellow Ledbetter is one of the most requested songs from Pearl Jam.
The lack of it is disturbing.
uncle jesse @ Jun 23rd 2009 10:52AM
Do The Evolution would be sweet to rock out to!
Knightdg @ Jun 22nd 2009 11:48PM
Keep it coming with the pearl jam, songs from a different era would be nice. Ive had enough of Alive
+1 to Yellow Ledbetter
Jake @ Jun 23rd 2009 8:29AM
*snicker snicker* he said "Keep it coming with the pearl jam..."
Seishi @ Jun 23rd 2009 1:31PM
@Knightdg - FYI, Yellow Ledbetter is a B-side single from the 'Alive' era.
Matthew Perry @ Jun 23rd 2009 12:18AM
I understand that it's a re-release bonus track, but with all the hullabaloo with Rock Band and Pearl Jam recently, how the fuck has Dirty Frank not even been mentioned? It's the best Pearl Jam song.
Yuccadude @ Jun 23rd 2009 12:40AM
Woo, finally I can sing Brother while everyone else hammers away on my mini plastic instruments.
crazy eyes @ Jun 23rd 2009 12:43AM
So much for the Best Buy "Exclusive".
Note to self: when someone offers Rock Band DLC "Exclusive" for buying a CD, they mean that it will actually be available later.
Kyera @ Jun 23rd 2009 8:55AM
Considering every bit of "exclusive" DLC (OXM tracks, PJ 3-pack, Country Pack, RB: Unplugged, etc) has been announced to be coming "eventually" as regular DLC (dating back to the OXM bonus tracks), this shouldn't come as a surprise.
Dan Davis @ Jun 23rd 2009 1:02AM
BOOOO!
I guess DevilDriver, Die Toten Hosen, The Distillers, Glasvegas, H-Blockx, In This Moment, Juli, Kasabian, Les Wampas, The Myriad, Nikko, Old 97's, Pleymo, Scars On Broadway, Thenewno2, and Tokio Hotel are better choices for DLC.
Listen, I'm all about diversity in this game, but nobody I know likes or knows these bands. EVERYONE up here in Seattle knows Pearl Jam. The thing about this game is that lesser known songs/bands NEVER get picked when we're playing a band quickplay. They might pop up during World Tour, but even when they do the vocalist BS's their way through it. I see it as a HUGE waste of money to buy songs that never get picked (for the record I have purchased about 80% of the entire RB DLC).
I was watching Joe Dirt yesterday, and I kept thinking "Why haven't they added this song?" Look at the soundtrack:
1. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
2. Walk on Water - Eddie Money
3. Hold Your Head Up - Argent
4. You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet - Bachman-Turner Overdrive
5. When I'm With You - Sherrif
6. Cat Scratch Fever - Ted Nugent
7. Who Do You Love - George Thorogood & The Destroyers
8. China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
9. Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
10. Roller - April Wine
11. Burnin' For You - Blue Oyster Cult
12. If You Want My Love - Cheap Trick
Seriously, I wish Harmonix would release more "classic" songs, rather than a freaking Bonnaroo pack.
/end rant
Dan Davis @ Jun 23rd 2009 1:04AM
Sorry, that was supposed to be a reply to Jason (first post).
For the record, I'm stoked for more PJ!
Bushman311 @ Jun 23rd 2009 3:59AM
I just want some 311 :(
isaac @ Jun 23rd 2009 11:12AM
how many millions of pearl jam songs can they put on rb2?
Shagittarius @ Jun 23rd 2009 12:11PM
Already got those PJ tracks with the re-release album. Now maybe my friends will buy them though and we can play them online.
Alzheimers @ Jun 23rd 2009 4:44PM
If you haven't heard "State of Love and trust" -- SHUT YOUR DIRTY MOUTH.
All I can say is, it's about damn time.
skykilr @ Sep 11th 2009 6:38PM
Why is Last Kiss not even mentioned on the games lists? It was PJ biggest hit. And if you punch it up on youtube there's thousands of people playing the song on guitar.
