Rock Band Wiikly: NIN, Weezer, Dead Kennedys, more

Rock Band Wiikly's main attractions this week are the geeks who became chic and the manorexic musical visionary-turned-slice-of-beefcake. Weezer, Nine Inch Nails and many other bands are added in this week's update of 16 tracks to the Wii music store. Find the full list after the break.

When do they release the Weezer songs people actually want?

Greatest Man and Troublemaker are both GREAT songs. Them and Everybody Get Dangerous are the only really good songs off The Red Album.

Weezer in music games needs more Perfect Situation, We Are All on Drugs, Hash Pipe (the original, not the edited version), and anything off Blue.

For the record, I love Pinkerton, but I don't think I'd enjoy playing any of those songs in a rhythm game. >_>

But seriously, "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" is an awesome song.

And really do want the "Sweater Song".

Are you kidding me? The Greatest Man That Ever Lived is an awesome song! Troublemaker is good to, and Dreamin' isn't too bad. I wish they would just do all the songs off that album- its as good as the Blue and Green albums.

I'm pretty sure that sometime between pinkerton and the green album, rivers was abducted by aliens and they have been slowly taking over his mind.

Burn makes me happy.

And if you play drums, it makes your forearms tired. Still not as much fun as Perfect Drug though.

I do play drums, both in Rock Band and in real life, and I can tell you, that song is beastly. Played it on my friends 360 (on Expert of course) and got raped. Skills are definitely lacking compared to Chris Vrenna and Trent Reznor.

I haven't bought anything for Rockband in about a year.

I saw the huge NIN logo and Rock band and got excited! Finally some new NIN songs for Rock Band!

Exactly my reaction. I was actually about to yell to a friend "There're new NIN songs for Rock Band!!!" Then looked at the songs. Then looked at the headline. Then went like this -> D:

Dreamin', Greatest Man, Automatic, and Angel and the One are the only solid tracks on Red. Hey, Rock Band, howabout getting Weezer's Pinkerton? It's pure win.

God damn, you half-Japanese girls do it to me every time.
