Explodemon! gets smaller, still as explosive for PSP Go

Curve Studios, developer of Buzz! Master Quiz for PSP, is returning to the portable platform with a version of its upcoming action-platformer, Explodemon!, designed for PSP Go. Already slated to hit PSN, WiiWare and PC, the game will arrive in downloadable form for the Go in 2010. It looks and sounds promising, with retro-inspired design and a title character who does everything by exploding.
Jason Perkins, Curve Studios' managing director, has also confirmed that the developer has "a number of" other titles in the pipeline for PSP also set for release next year. Hopefully we'll see more of its current, explosion-filled project at Cologne Gamescom -- where, it just so happens, an iPhone-style "app store" for PSP is rumored to be unveiled by Sony.

megaman powered app is one of the best megaman games i've played.
looks like lots of developers are now considering psp. i wouldn't
be surprised if i get infamous portable.

this is the game that gives you the exploding abilities of MR 5 from one piece right?

I hope the PSPgo App store thingy is real, would be pretty kool.

They should give up on the PSP GO! already
Kill a mans jiro @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:20PM
Yeah they should give up on all new profucts right? :)
Angel Mass @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:24PM

they already have sale statistics showing its not going to sell well (in fact, they havent sold any yet) so why even bother releasing it if its just going to flop according to their sales dat?
sony boy @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:45PM
cmon, it's not a bad handheld.
it's just overpriced...by 60 bucks. damn you sony!!!

PSPgo is not bad, people are just not giving it the chance cause its not the PSP2, People are expecting the PSPgo to be able to do wonders when its just supposed to be a more smaller PSP, Just as Gameboy Poscket was a smaller gameboy and the DSlite was a smaller DS.
So i dont see what the problem is, INFACT not everything about the go has been released yet so hold your tounge till release to make a valid conclution, till then, if you dont like it dont BUY IT simple as that.

kill, the problem is the product does not justify its price. If it was at $200 yeah it would be acceptable but at that price? And then theres that recession thats been dragging on. Its a poor decision by sony.
HappyFunBall @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:25PM
How is it designed for the Go, but not for a normal PSP?
Roddy @ Jun 23rd 2009 7:51PM
I was wondering this very same thing.
All these articles saying "such and such game is on the way for PSPGo". It's ridiculous. Just say PSP and leave it at that.
It's misleading.

I keep reading that title Explo-Demon.
zonic505 @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:30PM
Wait, if it's for the PSP Go, then it'll be downloadable for the normal PSP, right? I mean, aside from the design & the fact that the Go only plays downloaded games, there's no other different between a PSP & PSP Go, right?
cknblade @ Jun 23rd 2009 5:35PM
Well the $80 or so price difference. The $80 dollars buys you a sleeker design, and gets rid of that pesky UMD slot.

I think of a digimon.
muir666 @ Jun 23rd 2009 6:08PM
I loved that game
Young_Nastyman @ Jun 23rd 2009 6:09PM
At first glance, I thought this had something to do with Pokemon
Levi @ Jun 23rd 2009 6:22PM
I can't wait for this game. I hope Shadow Complex comes to PC as well.
