I wasn't going to buy this game ('cause my Dreamcast version still works) but this kinda makes me want to get it.

But then I remember that it's being ported by Backbone so you know it'll have stupid, annoying little problems that anyone with two functioning braincells would know enough to avoid.

Thanks for the backup, AllAround! :)

Here's my view of online opponents -- PSN vs XBL. Lets say 1% of all users buy the game.

If XBL has more members, wouldn't the chance of someone else playing MvC2 at that exact same time be greater too?

(Microsoft claims 17 millions XBL users -- but I think they are lumping Silver & Gold together. SIlver cannot play against other players online. And PSN claims 20 million of their 21 million consoles are on PSN... which seems a little questionable)

im figuring they know that because each psn account is registered under a certain system.

obviously you can make multiple accounts on the same system but im unsure on how many accounts you can make under the same registered system..... either way, there is only one registered system regardless of how many accounts are placed on the system so i think that registered system would translate to 1 registered user to them.

Real fighting game connoisseurs don't play fighting games on the 360 regardless of their friends being there b/c controllers suck on the 360 and 3rd party sticks/controllers are damn hard to find. I own both as well but never EVER buy a fighting game on the 360. I was done with Turbo: HF on the 360 when I couldn't do a charge move without jumping :-( 360 = FPS'rs PS3 = Fighter's
