Glu developing Modern Warfare 2 for mobile phones

The only piece of media we have for the game is shown above -- really tantalizing stuff there, Glu -- though we imagine the gameplay will resemble that of the World at War port the studio developed last year, only with a tad less flame throwing.

on the ipod/iphone, it would have terrible controls. the other mobile games suck because they just are.

Theres no way Activision asked IW what they wanted. Activision wants money, they will do whatever they have to so they can get it.(times maps on xbox)

I own all three home consoles at the moment and I find this a bit insulting to the Wii crowd that wants a version of MW. This is extremely weak from IW, and really any company that throws up shit like this for play but disses the Wii.

I guess so.
It's like how real movie stars do commercial abroad but won't do them here do to the appearance of having fallen on had times or of losing star power.
In this case, it's like doing a cell phone game is the "commercial abroad". Especially since hardcore gamers won't be paying as much if any attention to it rather than doing a Wii game, which would be solid easy money & the commercial here, that would be seen and possibly, in IW's eyes, looked down upon as selling out so to speak.
