If your thirst for over-the-top brawling wasn't quite quenched by UFC 2009: Undisputed, perhaps you should turn your attention to a fighting style with a bit more Latin flavor -- we speak, of course, of the divine art of Lucha libre, featured in the new project from young publisher Slang, titled AAA: El Videojuego (that's Spanish for "the video game," dontchaknow). The debut trailer for the game is posted after the jump.
The game's being developed for Xbox 360 and PS3 by Immersion Software and for Wii, PSP and DS by Argentine developer Sabarasa Studios. The 360 and PS3 versions are due out in late 2009 or early 2010, with all others following shortly thereafter. The game focuses on the action and the stars of the AAA wrestling league -- our personal favorite is La Parka, who's known for his Flying Eagle Kick maneuver, as well as his proclivity for delivering cans of gasoline to stranded motorists.

Sorry you cannot comprehend joerendous, I guess maybe I need to grow up because I don't judge a game as "garbage" just because a "teaser" trailer wasn't up to my standards, not to mention it's at least half a year or more away. The thing I don't like is how they are mixing it up with retro mexican style, It's almost as instead of masks they were wearing sombreros and fight in a cantina.
Not to mention they use regular espn style graphics on their shows not nacho libre style. Had they made a game about all the history of mexican wrestling that would fit so much better.
Raff...are you like...an angry luchador or something? Why are you getting so angry and seemingly taking this personal? The graphics look last gen and the gameplay looks repetitive and boring. Just because you are finally realizing your dream of getting to control spandex clad Latin dudes in weird masks to straddle other spandex clad Latin dudes doesn't disallow others to express their opinions over what looks to be a bad game.
Oh yeah let me tell you I'm sooooo angry right now, I'm just punching walls left and right trying to relieve all my frustration about this post, it's absolutely ridiculous how many tables I've smashed in the past 15 minutes!
But seriously, I'm just sick and tired of people coming out and saying a game looks like garbage from 15 seconds of not even close to done gameplay. And this happens in every game on every system, a 360 fanboy says MGS4 looks shitty and calls it garbage or a PS3 fanboy calls Gears of War 2 an epic fail in graphics and rules it off as shitty. Just the other day I saw a bunch of idiots say God of War 3 is going to be horrible just because the demo shown at E3 was a little slow and laggy in the beginning. I guess nobody ever thinks about a game may have some clipping issues or may lag 6 to 12 months before its release date. I guess teaser trailers with still in development gameplay should be the ultimate deciding factor in whether a game will be good or not.
Will this game be bad, probably. Will I pick it up? No. But just because I know that now doesn't mean the game will be shitty when all I've seen is 15 seconds of gameplay.

Since it has even the league title as name, it's probably a licensed product and about quality, this is probably their first game ever, I don't believed they have experienced people working there, so if it's their first try, it's pretty good for a budget title.
Nevermind. I'm having an off day. I really should read the post before I comment. I got the name wrong. It's La Parka. They mentioned him in the post. I remember him from WAY back in the WCW days. That's so funny.
Actually, there are two La Parkas. The one that's in this game (and the one currently in AAA lucha libre is the 2nd La Parka, who is not the one who was in WCW). AAA owns the La Parka character, so the original La Parka, upon falling out with AAA, was told he could never use the La Parka character, so the original La Parka, who wrestled in WCW, is not using a variation of the character, now called "L.A. Park". There's barely any difference between La Parka and L.A. Park, because AAA officials are too stupid to notice it.

I dont care what the wrestling game is called or who the wrestlers are. The wrestling fighting engine should be based around the AKI wrestling games from the N64 days.
A lucha libre game sounds pretty cool, but this just looks like every other wrestling game that I've played before, and I got sick of those when I was 10.
