Heads up! The Capcom Store received a long-awaited shipment of Mad Catz's official Street Fighter IV FightSticks today. Both the standard ($69.95/$79.95) and rarer Tournament Edition ($149.95) models are on sale for PS3 and Xbox 360. (Note: The FightPads are still out of stock.)

I really wish these were a bit cheaper. They look sweet and I want to buy two of them for some sweet home tourney parties.

Just got mine at a local GameStop. At first I wasn't really into the square gate, but as I pretty much only play charge characters I quickly got used to it. I can see where an octagonal gate would be much better for certain characters though. Luckily you can get them for about $10 shipped on eBay and switching them out is pretty easy.

Why isn't there a bluetooth pad?
First, I've NEVER been a fan of MadCatz products, I've never had much success with them, from their flimsy carry cases, to their el cheapo pads (the fury.., from the early PS2 days..).
Plus, this whole half ass compatibility scares me. Why can't we get a real pad, working on bluetooth?
Is this some licensing issue?

Price issue, apparently. It's cheaper to do RF than Bluetooth on PS3.

The fight pads are available on MadCatz's website though, don't know why they say they are still out of stock.

I think it's because MS requires third party to make jacks for their headsets.

I ordered a Fightpad from Amazon yesterday and I'll have it today. Hopefully it will allow me to actually play the game. Using the Xbox 360 controller on this game is unbearable. Why is it that I'm able to play all other fighting games but Street Fighter without issue?

Why do these things have to cost well over 50 dollars? 150 dollars! Just for prestige? Holy crap.

Just so everybody knows, the fightsticks aren't fully compatible with PC. Some work, some don't. Apparently, if your USB port has the proper chip, it works. Look on shoryuken forums for more info.

That's one good thing about living in Arkansas, there's rarely a high demand for anything gaming related. I've been able to pick up two fightpads on separate occasions at the local Best Buy. At least there's one good thing...

These are ridiculously over priced, coupled with the fact that I have to pay for the exuberant postal and shipping fee which is more than the stick itself from some online stores. For the price of the ordinary stick plus the shipping it's way over the price of the Championship Edition stick without the postage.
A dilemma, really. :(
I've been waiting for local ones to hit the shelves in my country, but none have so far...
About now, my 360 D-pad has worn off nicely to cater to my playing stile, and it serves it's purpose. However crap it used to be. While I still can't do all of the moves, especially combos, it'll have to do for now.
I don't want to pick up the fighting pad, because of the bad reviews I've been reading and for a pad with just a bit of rubber and plastic, it's an extravagant price to cough up on those reasons alone.

I have two 360 fightpads and have no complaints. You may want to consider that some people might give lower scores to the pads just because they are not as "l33t" as the sticks.
