Bethesda says first Fallout 3 PS3 DLC almost done

Bethesda has already released several DLC packages on other platforms hosting its post-apocalyptic RPG, Fallout 3, but not yet on PS3. Bethesda's Peter Hines, speaking to Eurogamer, says this will all change very soon as the company is nearly done coding Operation: Anchorage for PS3 usage. Unfortunately, Hines did not reveal a specific release date for the DLC.

It's interesting to note that, while Xbox 360 and PC owners have already enjoyed Operation: Anchorage and other such DLC, these DLC packs have encountered numerous problems in the past. Hopefully, these issues will not arise again in the PS3 versions, given the extra amount of time put into them.

Good News, I love this game. Now all we need is a release date!

oh god i can't wait.... there goes another 60+ hours of my life.... honestly this might be one of the best games of all time.

I need to play this game before it happens in real life. Class is in session...

At least Bethesda is spending the extra time on the DLC so hopefully it fixes problems and bugs that the PC/Xbox 360 versions had with the DLC. I can wait as I am not done with the game's side missions and getting all of the trophies.

yay I'm happy!!! Even if many people have said they didn't like the first two DLCs I'm willing to buy it, Bethesda deserves my money for such a great game

I've got Platinum for this and all the lil optionally missions and stuff not related to trophies but still need a good excuss to start playing again

well, they originally said they would be released in late June so I would expect them soon.

great timing too, i just got this game from the Amazon PS3 deal day a few days ago, from all the good things I have heard, I am looking forward to taking a crack at it. With the deal and a gift card I got the collectors edition for $24, so not a bad deal :)

I think its funny how when it came out they were so peppy about 360 exclusivity and what do you know, here comes everything on the PS3. Good thing too.

Guess that rules out today and the rest of June, as they initially stated. Really sucks that we won't be playing Point Lookout for another few months at this rate.

I like to think that 360 version of games are test dummies for a good product for the ps3.

Translation: the PS3 DLC is not coming out today and will miss the June deadline.

I'm glad he at least came right out and said something instead of just leaving us in a state of confused and frustrated speculation. I kinda expected this given that their focus is on getting out the 360 DLC first, we're unfortunately second priority.

You ps3 owners better hope bethesda takes as much time as posssible on the DLC. Because bethesda isn't the best devs know to have glitch free games. When I got the pitt for my 360, one of the character's body was missing and some patches of ground were gone.
