Blake Griffin selected as NCAA Basketball 10 cover athlete

The Oklamahoma Sooners power forward, and AP player of the year, Blake Griffin will be gracing the cover of EA's NCAA Basketball 10. Even though he's headed to the NBA in this year's draft, Griffin's time in the NCAA will not be forgotten, making him a great choice for the game's cover. If it were us, we'd probably have toned down the airbrushing, though.

Hey he's a great athlete overall just because I don't like his school doesn't mean I won't root for him. I want Big 12 to win when they are playing outside of conference anyways.

I also find a Texas fan roooting for an OU athlete completely bizarre.

Now I feel like an ass for being happy they lost to LSU last night.

I'm kinda surprised there was no Carolina love here...I mean Blake didn't really win much. And he's heading towards a blown out ACL and losing career once he gets signed by the Clippers.

Oh well. At least he doesn't seem to be an asshole like a lot of the other college kids these days (OJ Mayo, M. Beaz, B Jennings (not college but you see my point), D Rose (SATs?), etc etc. etc.)

Win much? As far as games go, I guess getting to to the elite eight doesn't mean much.

I remember many moon ago when you'd at least show a player from a championship winning team on the cover of the annual sports game, these games get more and more commerical and cheapened every year -- which is an amazing accomplishment considering how commericalized the games are in the first place!!! Soon I bet you're going to have to pay a premium for non-standard camera angles and only get the "box seat" view for your initial $60

Why is it that every recent sports game has had a retarded photo in each of them? I mean it's like they're trying to find the worst photos of all these athletes, then photoshop them to look even more ridiculous.

I wonder if this one will suck as bad as last years? Bring back College Hoops 2K for God's sake!

Ok Tyler Hansbrough should have been on the cover, he was player of the year last year and was nominated again this year, he's on the National Championship Team, he's broken the all time leading scorer records at UNC and in the ACC, and he's been playing for 4 years in the NCAA. He deserves it a lot more than Blake Griffin. -end rant-

Tyler Hansbrough was the most overrated player on Earth last year. He was mediocre, and he's a prick. Hell, give Ty Lawson the cover if it's anyone for NC. If he hadn't shot lights out, they'd have lost to LSU.

he's airbrushed cuz they know he's an ugly mug. they should have just did him right though and embraced his look, like ronaldinho on the fifa covers.

I thought Hansbrough would of gotten it with his mouth wide open staring out into space.

madden is the only huge sports franchise that puts crackers on the cover. this guy is good because it seems he is mulatto. no crackers in sports!

See, this was a great athlete to choose but a bad picture.

His face & nose kind of makes him look like a horse, IMO.
