Now, a year later, Square Enix is getting ready to unleash the sequel, Nanashi no Game Me (The Game with No Name: The Eye), which includes not only a cursed RPG, but a cursed platformer as well (who's developing these cursed games, anyway?). You can check out a trailer for the game (courtesy of Famitsu) above. You can also find some more info on the game at Siliconera. We have no idea if the sequel will make its way out of Japan, but we definitely hope so.

Ha, I remember this game - well, the original anyway. I was desperately hankering for a horror game on any platform that I owned, and I thought this would be the one. Then 2008 ended with no news of a localisation.
Also, I wonder whether Sigma Harmonics turned out to be any good.

The first one was awesome. I cant even wait for the second one. I remember my friend accidently snapping the hinge on my DS lite when he was trying to watch me play.

I wonder if there is a market for games that kill you if you fail to complete them...reminds me of super Ghouls and Ghosts. Imagine if that game had such a feature, there would be no survivors.

Anyone else find it ironic that "the game with no name" has a sub-title.
Looks like a great game, though

Giving the main character the ability to see "things" with his left eye seems like a great idea. I'm looking forward to see how it all works out. ^^

Also, this game is cursed with either any of the following:
-- being Japan-only, or
-- if it's been announced for a US release, it's gonna be cursed with a $40 price tag.
