Next week's
Rock Band Weekly has been revealed through Harmonix's
Rock Band "community zine," sent through the intertubes by email. The great thing about the zine is that it gives an idea of what tracks to expect next week. The problem is that it doesn't give prices for tracks or packs. We'd guess standard rates apply, but we can't say for sure right now. We'll update when the "official" announcement is made tomorrow and add prices.
Vans Warped Tour 3 Pack (440

/ $5.50)
- "Sweet Talk" -- Dear and the Headlights (160
/ $2)
- "Hey John, What's Your Name Again?" -- The Devil Wears Prada (160
/ $2)
- "Image of the Invisible" -- Thrice (160
/ $2)
Foreigner Pack (440

/ $5.50)
- "Blue Morning, Blue Day" (160
/ $2)
- "Feels Like the First Time" (160
/ $2)
- "Headknocker" (160
/ $2)
Individual songs
- "Weapon of Choice" -- Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (160
/ $2)
All tracks are likely available for download next Tuesday and Thursday on Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively.
Update: Added prices, fixed Foreigner tracks.Tags: black-rebel-motorcycle-club, dear-and-the-headlights, foreigner, rock-band, rock-band-2, rock-band-dlc, rock-band-weekly, the-devil-wears-prada, thrice

Finally a Thrice song and it's not from their first two albums. -_-
PR0F3TA @ Jun 25th 2009 8:00PM
YES!... thank you. the song isn't bad, but its not great. How i want "Deadbolt" "To Awake and Avenge the Dead" and "Belleville (spelling?) Crucible
adamantypants @ Jun 25th 2009 9:47PM
Deadbolt? To Awake and Avenge the Dead? Did we just become best friends?
Adriaan @ Jun 26th 2009 2:13AM
I agree, Deadbolt would be kickass. Maybe some Hoods on Peregrine or Eclipse too. :)
condor @ Jun 25th 2009 7:38PM
not foreigner?
tmacairjordan87 @ Jun 25th 2009 7:34PM
Harmonix should really go out of their way to get some Michael Jackson songs on there. At least get Beat It :\
B3astofthe3ast @ Jun 25th 2009 7:39PM
Completely agree.
NwrksBigBoss @ Jun 25th 2009 7:49PM
RIP MJ
Tyler @ Jun 25th 2009 7:49PM
I just heard the news. I can't believe it! This is going to sound so freaking gay but the song that got me into MJ is the one from Free Willy. I, of course, hate that song now but I do absolutely love many of his 80's hits. RIP MJ :(
MikeM @ Jun 25th 2009 7:52PM
The big question as I see it is what's going to happen (if anything) to Rock Band Beetles? Jackson owned half the rights to their music.
ArchiGamer @ Jun 25th 2009 7:53PM
RB or Singstar MJ
You know you want it.
tmacairjordan87 @ Jun 25th 2009 7:54PM
Nah nothing will happen. I just heard on MSNBC a few minutes ago that Jackson left all that he had left of the Beatles collection to McCartney in a will he did in January.
jorojoserojas @ Jun 25th 2009 8:00PM
No doubt. I think he deserves his own game, even.
CTC XBL-supapaypamawio PSN-ctclaw @ Jun 25th 2009 8:01PM
ABC was already confirmed as coming to Rock Band right? Why not release it next week?
Sly @ Jun 25th 2009 8:05PM
yeah, we need MJ in rock band stat.
MarkHawk @ Jun 25th 2009 8:32PM
We have smooth Criminal
ArchiGamer @ Jun 25th 2009 8:36PM
I'd die if they release the Thriller album on RB
ohyeahcola @ Jun 25th 2009 8:59PM
michael died
PR0F3TA @ Jun 25th 2009 9:16PM
lol
VaultICEE @ Jun 25th 2009 9:19PM
Once ABC comes up, there just NEEDS to be a Battle of the Bands including ABC and Smooth Criminal.
rambodude72 @ Jun 25th 2009 11:07PM
i am actually very sadened by micheals death he was a legend that wont ever be matched he is the king of pop
Tony @ Jun 29th 2009 2:38PM
I doubt much will happen with the Beatles Rock Band stuff. Jackson owned the rights, but he never owned the rights to the Beatles actually playing the songs.
Jason @ Jun 25th 2009 7:41PM
And thus my hopes for Streetlight Manifesto DLC are put aside for another day...
PR0F3TA @ Jun 25th 2009 8:02PM
why not Catch 22 DLC.... 100x better then Streetlight Manifesto.
MarkHawk @ Jun 25th 2009 8:35PM
@PR0F3TA
Im going to have to disagree. Considering Streetlight manifesto is Catch 22 I don't know why I'd get into this... in fact I wont. They are the same people!
PR0F3TA @ Jun 25th 2009 8:57PM
Yes... I know lol.
but what was once Catch 22 had songs alot more amazing then Streetlight.... the album "Kesbey Nights" and "Alone in a Crowd" were the 2 best Ska albums i ever heard
grenade.o.conner @ Jun 25th 2009 7:42PM
the songs in the article "from" foreigner are in fact Maroon 5 songs
VaultICEE @ Jun 25th 2009 7:43PM
Super fail
Micho @ Jun 25th 2009 7:44PM
ummm its not Wake up call that's that Maroon 5 song.
It's Feels Like The First Time... According to the email....
Micho @ Jun 25th 2009 7:48PM
wait!
That's not the Foreigner pack!
That's The Maroon 5 pack!
Its these Foreigner songs:
Blue Morning Blue Day
Feels Like The First Time
Headknocker
Get it together jostiq!
I know MJ died but still get it together! lol
Tyr1n @ Jun 25th 2009 7:48PM
The Devil Wears Prada - EPIC FAIL!!!!!
Dan Davis @ Jun 25th 2009 8:48PM
Yeah, more screamo!
/sarcasm
rkrocks123 @ Jun 25th 2009 7:50PM
I'd be willing to bet that the 3-packs are 440 msp and the single is 160 msp. Just a hunch.
deathoftheparty @ Jun 25th 2009 7:53PM
Definitely psyched about Dear and the Headlights. Glad it is off the
first album too. This Warped pack >>> Last Weaks (see what I did?)
Warped Pack.
DaveTheStalker @ Jun 25th 2009 8:06PM
Those Foreigner songs are REALLY weak. There should be some MJ in RB.
MarkHawk @ Jun 25th 2009 8:39PM
I wish these and some of the last few weeks were on that Pepsi promotional page.
Dan Davis @ Jun 25th 2009 8:52PM
Carl: WHO SET THIS ON HEAD GAMES???
Meatwad: It's okay, Carl. Ohhh... Maybe it's not okay. But with computers nowadays, you don't even have to leave the house!
b trumpet @ Jun 25th 2009 9:02PM
FOUND AN ERROR:
For the Foreginer pack, you put "Makes Me Wonder". It should be "For the First Time"
Matthew Perry @ Jun 25th 2009 9:28PM
I've been getting into Black Rebel Motorcycle Club recently, and I have to say that I'm extremely dissapointed that they chose Weapon of Choice. We already have it in World Tour. BRMC has so much good stuff, it's such a shame to have two games using the same song.
Plus, the song is a ton of fun in World Tour because of the holding-a-low-note-and-then-hammering-higher-notes sections, which can't be replicated in RB, so not only are they repeating a song, but it's going to be nowhere near as awesome as the WT chart.
elprogramer @ Jun 25th 2009 10:28PM
Their first two albums were much better, so maybe those are coming as packs.
Xenophy @ Jun 25th 2009 9:45PM
it seems like those Foreigner songs are Maroon 5 songs
jakubkeller @ Jun 25th 2009 10:36PM
Whoever wrote this article sure knows music... Foreigner... really? Dude, it's Maroon 5... Wow...
Mobius1B7R @ Jun 26th 2009 1:43AM
Thrice!!!!!! So happy!!!!
lolpilipino @ Jun 26th 2009 1:49AM
Was hoping we'd get Under This Killing Moon, Artist in the Ambulance, and Stare at the Sun, but Image of the Invisible is another good one.
reid296 @ Jun 26th 2009 7:50AM
Yeah, Image of the Invisible is a good song, but I can think of better to suit Rock Band. Really anything off The Artist In The Ambulance would be better. Of Dust and Nations would be cool, too. =D
Steven @ Jun 26th 2009 12:26PM
Congrats, Dear in the Headlights, you deserve it
imbrett @ Jul 7th 2009 4:38PM
Very glad to see that they finally added The Devil Wears Prada to Rock Band, and even better, they used my favorite song, “Hey John, What’s Your Name Again.” Harmonix – please, give us more TDWP!
For a gameplay video of this song check this out : http://displacedbrett.wordpress.com/2009/07/06/devil-wears-prada/
Anyone know how many Warped Tour packs they have planned? Hope they have a lot more, there's lots of ground to cover. I also hope that we start seeing a lot more Black Rebel songs – BRMC is an awesome riff machine
