The first time Joystiq posted 3 month old video from a show that everybody already watched, I was like 'WTF?' but the commenters were like 'Ok, not every news needs to be... new and stuff. let's be lenient.'. But after this April Fools joke that you reported end of may, or maybe july, I think people had enough. Really, what were you thinking.

The dedication to a Genny era game was done well, but sort of a pointless sketch. Why would a new movie have a game for a long dead system? Typical hipster comedy; nostalgia for nostalgia's sake.

It's hilarious how some people can conceive of others not watching MTV, let alone their movie "awards." Especially on a gaming blog, where I imagine a lot of others are like me, and would rather play games than watch most of the current crap on TV.

Also, on a related topic, does anybody else watch Wipeout (my gf loves it)? I'm convinced that games (especially platformers) would kick ass at that show because it's basically a real-life video game that's all about timing your jumps perfectly. Especially if you're a veteran of '80s extreme precision jumping games.
