Ahh, I *have* to sit around all day tomorrow waiting for furniture to be delivered, so I have no choice but to play video games! I will probably start with some FFVII, Mario RPG and EA Active and when the Mr. gets home we'll do some RE5 co-op.

It's payday tonight too so I might pick up something new..hmm..

Playing inFamous and the Uncharted 2 Beta.

When I finish that I hope to delve into my growing back catalog, starting with Mass Effect.

With all this new info on Mass Effect 2, I've been really wanting to get back into it.

I only got through a quarter of the game, so I think I'm going to start a new Sheppard and start all over again as I don't remember too much of the story.

I will definitely go through the whole game this time.

I just finished Mass Effect for the first time today and let me say that that game is the fucking bomb ass shit. I am pretty excited for ME2 just to see if I really made choices that will affect the story. We'll see. Next up? Ninjatown on the DS, of course and probably The Conduit. Although RE5 is calling my name as is Fallout 3...

gunslinger is really easy. there's this truck that comes around right before amsel gets in his car. shoot the engine with the mosin about 4 times. if you get the PTRS, then only 2 times. then shoot the car driver right when amsel gets in. then switch to the pistol and spam bullets into the engine of the truck. if you do it right, the truck would blow up and amsel would die from it. and it still counts for the trophy/achievement.

I am continuing with my 360 -> PS3 swap and still thoroughly enjoying it. Although thanks to my friends heavy use of gamefly I am limited to blockbuster rentals, so ive only got infamous right now, but i hope to beat that by sunday and head into uncharted. Really enjoying infamous, although there are some problems. The graphics seem a little muddled and scratchy for an 09 PS3 game, but that's not a problem, I'm more upset by the prevalence of some powers over others. I went into karmic overload and used probably 2 dozen Megawatt hammers against one of the dustmen robot things, and nothing happened, used half the number of grenades and he went down.

infamous has a surprising amount of pop-in. it's especially noticeable when you're riding on the train.

I've been playing a lot of Devil May Cry 4 lately. I can forgive the game of its terrible camera, shitty platforming and Narm-tastic story because the combat is just so AWESOME.

I have yet to get the timing down for MAX-Act though :'(

After finishing GTAIV I am on a new mission - play through Metal Gear Solid 2-4. I am into MGS2 now and I can't find all of the stupid explosives on the bridge between the cores! the President needs me!

Hey guys, I've been reading Joystiq for months and I always look forward to the WRUP. I've never posted, but I thought I should start sometime! This weekend I'm going to play through Mirror's Edge (probably will finish it today, considering how short I heard it was). I'll probably play some Hot Shots Golf online on my PS3 and then shift over to some Team Fortress 2. I want to ask for some advice. I don't have any Call of Duty game, nor have I ever owned one. If I am new to the series, should I go with Modern Warfare or World at War? I think the modern weapons seem more interesting to me, but the co-op zombies in World at War is luring me to that one. Does anyone have both that you could drop an opinion? Thanks guys!

P.S. I'm always looking for someone to play Hot Shots with, so if anyone has it for PS3 let me know and maybe we could get a match together

if you plan on getting Modern Warfare 2, id get MW1, just to familiarize yourself with both the weapons and the story, however light that is. But then again you might want WaW if two games of the same setting might be monotonous right in a row

yeah, definitely get COD4. the players online are a lot more skilled than the ones on WaW. it'll definitely get you ready for MW2. if you start at WaW, prepare to get your ass handed to you in MW2. but if you don't play competitive MP, then still go with MW1 because the story is great.

Thanks Sly. I didn't know the communities online really differed between WaW and MW. I just found a great site listing some good gun combinations for MW online, so I'll probably take advantage of those if I pick the game up today.

I recently got a PS3, so this week I'll be playing Resistance 1, Uncharted (Crushing difficulty for the last trophy), and hopefully, Burnout Paradise and COD4.

I will also continue my daily night rounds with my counter-strike 1.6 team.

I'll be playing Icarion on WiiWare, and I also need to get back into Okami - probably have to restart it as been a while since I played it.

Good luck with the wall of text at the beginning. I've restarted that game three times and at this point I just press 'next' on the controller for about 20 minutes.
