BitF, Penny Arcade in second, then DU and Gamespy tied for 3rd
ZaxCG2 @ Jun 28th 2009 10:03PM
Its good to see BitF back. :)
Desert Eagle @ Jun 27th 2009 11:17PM
Brawl in the Family is back on? Thank God! That's always my pick of the week.
Dipswitch also gave me a chuckle, along with GameSpy's comic (which is so right).
Overall nice week.
Mr Khan @ Jun 27th 2009 11:28PM
MNC got me. The joke's been done a zillion times before, but its a clever take.
GameSpy (they do comics?), Brawl in the Family, and Virtual Shackles were also hilarious.
Penny Arcade made no sense.
deanb @ Jun 28th 2009 12:02AM
For PA's you needed to of read the blog post with it, though this week's haven't been very game related, but I suppose it'd be odd not to see a PA in the WWW.
Bubbameister33 @ Jun 28th 2009 12:47AM
have read
Gavin @ Jun 28th 2009 6:15PM
MNC almost never does it for me, but this week just did. good job :)
Dracard @ Jun 27th 2009 11:42PM
I like the detailed lighting around the eyes of the Bela Lugosi Dracula in that Penny Arcade comic.
Sly @ Jun 28th 2009 12:15AM
what's a bela lugosi dracula?
Sly @ Jun 28th 2009 12:16AM
nevermind, found my answer.

PR0F3TA @ Jun 27th 2009 11:46PM
Gamespy hit it out of the park
Ninja_Nun @ Jun 28th 2009 12:39PM
Definitely agree, at first was a bit like TL;DR put it really is worth it in the end.
Roto13 @ Jun 27th 2009 11:50PM
Yeah, I don't really get the Penny Arcade one. >_> But this was a good week, anyway. My vote goes to Gamespy.
deanb @ Jun 28th 2009 12:01AM
Virtual Shackles gets my vote cos of "The Occasional Murder".
Mainly cos we all know that at some point something on the xbox is gonna go red, and for once you'd be glad it was the RROD n not HAL-360.
Hydrophobicfish @ Jun 28th 2009 12:04AM
Aw, poor wrapup... as much as I love free stuff, I love webcomics too! There there!
Sly @ Jun 28th 2009 12:13AM
i didn't know gamespy did webcomics. i liked it though. it was a bit longwinded, but it made sense and was funny. usually its one or the other. so that's good.
The Dark Wayne @ Jun 28th 2009 12:14AM
Virtual shackles for me, anything that is able to reference HAL is a win in my book
WREturns @ Jun 28th 2009 12:31AM
I guess I'm the only one that thought that the GameSpy one was a little too long.
finnith @ Jun 28th 2009 1:28AM
You're not alone, I didn't really like it either.
Sly @ Jun 28th 2009 1:49AM
i thought it was too long too, but i still liked it.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Jun 28th 2009 2:05AM
Ewwwww words... :P
The Dark Wayne @ Jun 28th 2009 3:09AM
i didnt enjoy it at all
WINterfang @ Jun 28th 2009 1:42PM
I like it for a second but meh too much verbal diarrhea.
Reader @ Jun 28th 2009 12:32AM
DU was awesome, probably because that happened throughout my childhood.
dark_inchworm (on Steam!) dark inchworm (on XBL!) @ Jun 28th 2009 1:34AM
It seems waaay too lengthy at first, but once you've finished it, you realize Gamespy's strip nails it right on the head.
Sly @ Jun 28th 2009 3:11AM
agreed.
eldee @ Jun 28th 2009 2:31AM
everybody who voted for Gamespy, please throw yourself in front of the nearest bus. That was one of the most retarded comics I've seen in the wrapup in a LONG time.
Markez @ Jun 28th 2009 4:01AM
Suggesting readers commit suicide, whilst saying something is 'retarded'?
eldee @ Jun 28th 2009 6:03AM
your point?
WREturns @ Jun 28th 2009 12:07PM
Irony, eldee, irony.
WINterfang @ Jun 28th 2009 1:44PM
Everyone that liked something different than me should trow himself in a fire-Hitler.
dark_inchworm (on Steam!) dark inchworm (on XBL!) @ Jun 28th 2009 8:04PM
Clearly, eldee is proudly employed by Gamestop.
Leroy_Octopus @ Jun 28th 2009 3:12AM
I guess I was one of the only ones who voted for DU, and I've never even played Magic: The Gathering. I liked the Penny Arcade, (I don't see how it doesn't make sense. Would yo go into a game shop with that name?) but it was their weakest strip this week.
I'm trying to spread the word about this awesome non-game related comic, because it needs it.

I am not affiliated with them, but they say they'll update more if they get 2000 visitors. So give it a try will ya? You might need to start from the begining though.
Spartan @ Jun 28th 2009 6:23AM
Lifecycle of a video game is teh best.
But i was split between that and the 1st one.
Glad to see they're neck and neck.
R. Kasahara @ Jun 28th 2009 7:59AM
Yeah, the Virtual Shackles one was very good, but in the end, I went with GameSpy's comic. Wouldn't object to either of them winning, as they were the only two in this week's roundup that made me laugh out loud.
mollyamy93 @ Jun 28th 2009 10:36AM
[I've been banned]
Obi-Habby @ Jun 28th 2009 10:51AM
Where do I sign up?
Kattleox @ Jun 28th 2009 10:41AM
I can't remember: did Lets Destroy the FOX Unit ever made it into one of these polls?
J.Goodwin @ Jun 28th 2009 10:44AM
Sorry Definitely Brutal, Life Cycle was so good that I never even looked at your comic.
BlackDove @ Jun 28th 2009 10:57AM
Credit Card information stealing and DNA Achievement mining win this one for me.
I can totally see Natal scanning credit card information and then popping up a screen about how you can upgrade your account, since you have enough money.
OLDMIKE @ Jun 28th 2009 11:38AM
i can see it now it will be a super small print text and say
wave your hand or say "play" to upgrade to super gold xbox live
NervousXtian @ Jun 28th 2009 11:18AM
Gamespy one was lame. Good concept, just very poor execution. There's a funny comic in that theme, they just don't have the chops to make it work.
BitF get's it from me, then PA, then Dipswitch.. MNC is lame, because it's a girl... we all know that.
BigD145 @ Jun 28th 2009 2:06PM
Had to vote Gamespy, but MNC was also good.
Craig M @ Jun 28th 2009 5:33PM
The comics this week are all lame.
the_pop @ Jun 28th 2009 5:40PM
The fact that Gamespy is winning is an indication of the general shittyness of webcomics.
LuiginDaisy @ Jun 28th 2009 9:12PM
GameSpy had quantity and quality, but I related to Digital Unrest a lot more.
