Used to be 'round these parts that Saturdays here at the 'Stiq were synonymous with one feature, and one feature only -- the illustrated revue you're reading right this very second. Last week, Joystiq's newest featured bundle o' joy hit the site, and hit it hard. The inaugural edition of Swag Saturday received 3167 Comments? Seriously? Brawl in the Family is back on? Thank God! That's always my pick of the week.

Dipswitch also gave me a chuckle, along with GameSpy's comic (which is so right).

Overall nice week.

MNC got me. The joke's been done a zillion times before, but its a clever take.

GameSpy (they do comics?), Brawl in the Family, and Virtual Shackles were also hilarious.

Penny Arcade made no sense.

For PA's you needed to of read the blog post with it, though this week's haven't been very game related, but I suppose it'd be odd not to see a PA in the WWW.

I like the detailed lighting around the eyes of the Bela Lugosi Dracula in that Penny Arcade comic.

Gamespy hit it out of the park

Definitely agree, at first was a bit like TL;DR put it really is worth it in the end.

Yeah, I don't really get the Penny Arcade one. >_> But this was a good week, anyway. My vote goes to Gamespy.

Virtual Shackles gets my vote cos of "The Occasional Murder".
Mainly cos we all know that at some point something on the xbox is gonna go red, and for once you'd be glad it was the RROD n not HAL-360.

Aw, poor wrapup... as much as I love free stuff, I love webcomics too! There there!

i didn't know gamespy did webcomics. i liked it though. it was a bit longwinded, but it made sense and was funny. usually its one or the other. so that's good.

Virtual shackles for me, anything that is able to reference HAL is a win in my book

I guess I'm the only one that thought that the GameSpy one was a little too long.

DU was awesome, probably because that happened throughout my childhood.

It seems waaay too lengthy at first, but once you've finished it, you realize Gamespy's strip nails it right on the head.

I guess I was one of the only ones who voted for DU, and I've never even played Magic: The Gathering. I liked the Penny Arcade, (I don't see how it doesn't make sense. Would yo go into a game shop with that name?) but it was their weakest strip this week.

I'm trying to spread the word about this awesome non-game related comic, because it needs it.

Yeah, the Virtual Shackles one was very good, but in the end, I went with GameSpy's comic. Wouldn't object to either of them winning, as they were the only two in this week's roundup that made me laugh out loud.

Sorry Definitely Brutal, Life Cycle was so good that I never even looked at your comic.

Credit Card information stealing and DNA Achievement mining win this one for me.

I can totally see Natal scanning credit card information and then popping up a screen about how you can upgrade your account, since you have enough money.

wave your hand or say "play" to upgrade to super gold xbox live

Gamespy one was lame. Good concept, just very poor execution. There's a funny comic in that theme, they just don't have the chops to make it work.

BitF get's it from me, then PA, then Dipswitch.. MNC is lame, because it's a girl... we all know that.

Had to vote Gamespy, but MNC was also good.

The comics this week are all lame.

The fact that Gamespy is winning is an indication of the general shittyness of webcomics.

GameSpy had quantity and quality, but I related to Digital Unrest a lot more.
