Thats a fantastic deal. I honestly think by Christmas there will be an 80GB PS3 deal bundled with Uncharted 2 for $349.99 though.

I just want Sony to release details on the new Slim model so I know it's capabilities. If it has the same stuff as the original PS3 then I might buy it but if it has less somehow, then I'll buy a bundle right now.

dammit dammit dammit. just bought wall e on blu ray. wtf am i going to do with a 2nd copy of wall e? had this come out a few weeks ago i wouldve been all over it. gah, i know i could sell a copy, but it wouldnt be at full price.. shit. decisions decisions. though it would be nice to have a slimmer ps3, guess we'll wait and see what price it drops as.

Unless you can't wait, it's silly not to wait until September. That's historically when manufacturers start cutting prices for the holiday season. Presumably, we could also see a new PS3 announced then. (at the very least those 45nm chips will show up).

It's a good bundle. It's a good movie that costs between 25 and 30 bucks with a game that great for all ages and offers almost unlimited replayability for 50 or more depending on where you buy it. that's almost 80 bucks off a PS3 for people demanding a price cut and you instantly get a game and bluray movie that should be in ANYONE's collection as must haves.

If you have the movie or the game already what the hell do you even care? you either have a DVD of it and arnt ready to move to bluray or you have the game and/or movie already and it's pointless for you to even worry about this. The point here is that there are still people out there who havent tried either the movie or the game and would love to have these games and those are the people who should be interested in buying it.

I'm torn on this one. I want a PS3 and I'm starting to get tired of waiting for the rumoured price cut. But I know as soon as I buy one, THEN the price will go down.
The movie is better than the game. If the game was Infamous I would probably purchase this. I'll probably end up waiting though....

My 360 was $300 with two kids games (Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indy,) No Bluray, no wireless, and I had to get a gold subscription for the main reason I bought it, for Netflix. I got the MotorStorm bundle, with BC, and I'd much rather have this bundle, if it had BC, than any of the other bundles for any system. And I own LBP and WALL-E on Bluray, they'd be pretty attractive incentives for me.

As much as I love antagonizing the Sony Ponies, I would pick the sucker up for $299 with LBP and something else like R2 or K2. Hopefully by the Holidays those corporate jerks will get a grip.

I suppose it's the best bundle ever if you really enjoyed both LBP and Wall-E. I liked Wall-E, but LBP (IMO) is total dreck. I understand why people like it (LBP), but I don't.

Although, since the PS3 that's included in the bundle is of considerable lesser quality (no BC) compared to previous bundles... I wouldn't say that this deal is what will get those that aren't in any hurry to snap up a PS3 to bite.

Like others, I'd much rather see a price cut and then be allowed to spend my money on games/movies of my choosing.

I ended up get an 80G open boxed (aka someone bought it, opened it and returned it the same day because they realised it wasn't what they wanted. Never been used stil.) PS3 with Condemed 2 for $389 canadian after tax.

Really? Wall-E? Is it not selling is that why they are bundling it with it. Also I'll be honest I dont like LBP, its a nice game an all but its way to cute for me I rather play something more to my age level like MGS, Resistance FoM, Fallout 3 heck even Assassins Creed.

The amount of movie someone would drop for the unit and they going to let there kid watch Wall-E on it? No way last thing I want is any kids touching my PS3.

MGS4 and Evil Dead 2 bundle? I'd buy that without hesitation. But $400 is too much. The Ps3 is an amazing piece of machinery, but that much money for a console with few AAA titles is out of the question. When the Ps3 is priced competitively, I'll get one, or maybe if they just make a game for it I can't pass by, but right now I'm just waiting.

American's are behind the times (yes I live in the states and own a Xbox 360 and a Grand Am, but also own a PlayStation 3, Yamaha VStar and would gladly trade in my Grand Am for a 2007 Toyota Camry SE. I'm American true, but a 360 can't stand up to a PS3, a Harley-Davidson can't hold its own to a Yamaha Raider S, and a Ford Fusion nor a Chevy Impalla can't compete with a Camry or Accord. Some of us do, others of us are happy investing in something the breaks and crashes on us and invest even more in it to get it fixed on a daily basis.
