Overlord II DLC to be announced 'soon'
If you've sunk your teeth deeply into Codemasters' manipulative jerk simulator, Overlord II, you'll be pleased to know new opportunities to bully and plunder are just around the corner. In a recent interview with Strategy Informer, the game's creative director, Lennart Sas, confirmed the developer is working on Overlord II DLC, and that "it'll be announced soon."
When pressed for details, Sas retreated into a thick, scaly carapace attached firmly to his back. Our guess? This new content will allow the game's traditionally evil antihero to make difficult moral decisions. For instance, should you punch a six-year old girl in the face -- or should you punch her in the stomach? Hmm, that's a toughie.

Is the game good? I was considering buying it. And I DO love me some good DLC!

I GameFly'd it, and I HATED it! Terrible camera, controls, and graphic shuttering issues.

I am having fun with it. Really it comes down to if you liked the first you will like this one. Of course Im renting it from gamefly, I probably wouldn't shell out the full 60 for it.

In an interview before Overlord 2 came out, the devs said that they made a mistake with the first game by announcing DLC too late, so that's why they are announcing it earlier this time. Granted they may have jumped the gun a bit, but more Overlord is always a good thing.

And if you don't choose the face 100% of the time you won't get the achievement.
And then you have to play it from the beginning and never forget ITS THE STOMACH THIS TIME. (reload save game, damnit)

Manipulative jerk simulator, heh heh heh. The demo for the first game was okay, but it didn't make me buy it, and I think I'll give this one a pass as well. Interesting premise, though.

Of course, given Codemasters previous track record, the DLC won't work on the Steam version because of some excuse they'll cook up.
