Well of course it did. The original Wii Sports currently resides in like, four out of every five households on the planet -- why wouldn't the Japanese gaming populace spring to consumer action when the MotionPlus-bundled follow-up landed on store shelves?
Within the first four days of its release, Wii Sports Resort moved 353,827 copies, making it the third-fastest selling Wii title ever -- Mario Kart Wii sold 608,000 copies in a similar time period, while Super Smash Bros. Brawl moved 816,000 copies. Whether the frisbee-throwing, sword-dueling, jetski-riding simulator can come close to the 45 million mark set by its bundled forefather remains to be seen.

Reflecting numbers does numbers on the wii's processor and graphics chip.

it's not reflection - it's an underwater part of the ring.
buoys do have "Nintentdo" logo on upper part only - but not on the submerged part.

It truely is sad that the Wii has not evolved at all since launch. Wii Sports one of the bigger sellers, now this... 2+ years later. Probably why my Wii is the best dust collector in my house.

I play my 360 all the time and guess what I had to do the other day? DUST IT OFF!? Weird, I thought only my Wii was supposed to get dusty. You lied to me internet! I thought if I bought a Wii, it would act as some sort of household dust magnet that meant I would never have to dust the house - just my Wii.

I always did find it odd people say it collects dust. All my consoles do that, no matter how much I use them. It may have something to do with the fact my room is the land of dust for some reason.

the next evolution, nimblewick? You mean motion plus? You mean the thing that makes the wii do what they said it would do in 06?

Whether it was supposed to do it earlier or not, it is certainly an evolution of the technology.

It's normal that a Wii collects dust... The only times you need to touch it is when you want to eject the CD and this will not remove dust whatsoever...
If your Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3 are not collecting dust, it's because you are doing some weird things with them...

350,000 core gamers UNITE

Please don't say it it transcends the casual/core barrier. I think it sits right in the heart of the casual market of the Wii and the Wii fans - yes tha casual base is a big new market. However, I am a core gamer and I could never play this - not because I don't like Nintendo but because as a gamer I could care a less about tossing a Frisbee or the other tech demo things on this - never have. The Wii is not bridging casual and core gamers they are getting the casual and of course the Nintendo fans. I f the casual and core were merging as one then why do games not prefixed with Wii in the title not sell well even though they are good games --like Mad World, Conduit. Because Mom , pop grandma and grandpa aren't buying and core gamers are on better consoles and better games. Now go toss a frisbee

Core gamers should be able to enjoy every quality game. Wii Sports Resorts is a quality game, from most reports.
If it's fun, it's fun, regardless of whether you're throwing a frisbee or shooting at aliens.

when most people with wiis have more than one copy, then im sure its a bit inflated, and im sure it wouldnt be anywhere near the 10 ten if it wasnt with the controller.

Obviously it would sell well. On a system that has 90% shovelware, why wouldn't you expect First Party games to sell well...

Wii Sports was great, but Wii Sports Resort looks to be even better. I just hope there will be cheats like on wiisports2cheats.com. MotionPlus is just gravy on the cake! ;)
