A guitar hero bundle is usually £60. I think this isn't going to sell.

Gimmicky music games like this have sold well in the past with way over priced peripherals and a mind numbingly repetitive game.

No reason this will differ. Welcome to console gaming 2009.

I was looking forward to playing this in the US but 120 is to much for me.
I was wanting 100 tops.

What makes it cost so much that it's more than a regular guitar hero guitar and game bundle?

Wow what a flawed logic. So put Hero on a turd and you automatically assume people will buy it?

None for me thanks. I've eaten enough of your bullshit Activision.

You think $120 or even $180 is expensive??? When DJ Hero launches in Argentina, it's going to cost at least $240 in the black market, or $400 in big retail stores. Blame the goverment and their stupid definition of "luxury item" being "something not manufactured in Argentina because we don't even have the money or the tecnology to do it".

This is getting too damned distracting. There's no more conversation anymore, just people pointing out those heads.

i would have thought that the UK would be the main target for this, since it has a rippin club scene. but at that price, im thinking many would rather just go to the club!

I'm sure it will sell loads.. we (in the UK) have a lot of 'pond life' / 'chav's etc who would even buy 'Mobile Hero' or 'Cell Phone Hero'..

I like how everyone thinks this game sucks even though they haven't played it. Give it a chance people, unless you're not into that type of music (mashups/remixes), in which case you're not the target audience anyway.

fuck me sideways!

Guitar Hero is normally £60-£70 (depending on what console and where you buy it)
I was thinking since it's more than gh in america it would be more like maybe £80 - £85 at most here!
This is insane!

It'll still sell enough.

I was a bit scepticle with the idea of this game at first but seeing it played it actually does look good fun. Though with the ammount of great games coming out and The Beatles Rock Band already being top of my list for music games, I'm not sure I'll have the money to buy this. And yes, it is too expensive. I mean Guitar Hero is like £60 so I was expecting £80.

I still don't get how people make these price conversions and stand by them.

Yes, its more expensive in Europe but average wage equivalent is much higher as well.

UK as an example. My job in the States would pay approximately 35 dollars per hour. In the UK, more or less the same job would pay 65 dollars an hour (£40 per hour). The example spans across most industries (a tattooist would get about $110 per hour in the UK)

So, no, we're not being ripped off, its just how the economy works.
