I dont know why they wanted to point out how they were showing "Actual Gameplay footage".

To be honest, it didn't look all that impressive

No, it doesn't look like real soccer, which is why it's disappointing.

At least, it doesn't look like real people playing soccer. The moves are right, but the movement's wrong.

if you took away the lighting (which is easily the best thing in the trailer) you could've convinced me I was looking at Pro Evo 09 on the Wii.

also, why do the jerseys look like they're made out of 4 polygons (front, back, sleeves)? Where else could they be using the 360's/PS3's power?

haha you ever see american soccer? If we could play at the same level as the English Premiership than maybe people would get excited about it. but it's quite boring over here...very slow.

Why are they calling it FIFA 10? Do 6 of the previous 16 don't count?

Although this game looks as though it is shaping up well, I think I will wait for FIFA World Cup 2010 game. For some reason I always like the tournament FIFAs better than the yearly rehashs

It looks the same as 09 :/

And let's see if this time there are no trophies that require buying 'DLC' for the game. Although this is EA we're talking about...

what's with all the slo mo. it looks like just video. who plays the game from those camara angles.

The problem with fifa is always the same. The players move like morons. They act like they don't know what they are doing. Like a keeper that let's a cross trickle in front of him or a guy who never runs into the clearly open space. as someone put it the moves are right it's the movement that's always wrong.

Same here, its cool the FIFA brings the brands and official names and everything, but Winning Eleven (Or PES) its more enjoyable to me

lol - the comments under the video are taking the piss.
Did you take it seriously?

Dude.... chill. Football = NO BULLET TIME.
FIFA = NO BULLET TIME.

Its just a special effect for the video.

DOh :D

As for actual footage.... crap.
Like every year, the actual footage video's before release generally tend to be over photoshopped and the likes, smoothed to high heaven.

FIFA 10 looks much like FIFA 09, only ever so slightly smoother.

@MrXile i dont know if you remember but they were toying with the idea last year on using slo-mo for one on ones and set pieces and stuff. that why i think this might actually be true.

I can't bring myself to buy another Fifa. They're practically the same each year with the exception of some minor change, but most of the time they're pointless to shell out full game price for them. I think they should of just kept Fifa 09 kept up with Roster Updates, gave some cool DLC for it, and all we be good. We don't need another reiteration every year on every sports game. They may be cash cows, but all in all it's not necessary.

If you're speaking to me get a clue. I never said I didn't like it. It's one of my favorite games, but I'm sick of the year to year releases. Of course I don't have to buy them, but maybe EA should support their sports franchises better. Every Madden since 06' has sucked. Not worth the time of day. It's just the same old story. So if you're happy with shelling out full price each year for the same game then you're a stupid consumer. But those are the people EA loves.

Bearing in mind alot of the teams will have the same kits next season (Arsenal definatly have the same home kit) I'm not suprised also not all the teams have released their new kit yet (Manchester United for one only just showed it off for the first time two days ago and it isn't going to be worn by a United team until the 18th of July iirc)

Also it wasn't just kits that hadn't been updated, the players hadn't either, Benzema (the Lyon player is now a Real Madrid player).

I wouldn't look too much into this I'd say alot of the finishing touches ie the kits, squads etc. woun't be put in place until the last couple of weeks of development.

are you a moron? they wouldn't add "bullet time" to fifa 10, its a promotional video, they're going to highlight gameplay by slowing down the footage...

Exactly, these people probably thought, after seeing last years trailer, the teams would randomly change during a match.
