From what we played of the game's campaign back at E3, we're not sure exactly how Eidos/Warner Bros. plan to keep the game's T-rating, as evidenced by the few gameplay snippets you see in the developer diary above. We are, however, surprisingly excited for the game's release in late August -- and glad we don't have to bring along Mom to buy us the game.

Everything time I see footage for this game, I find myself holding a debit card by the end of it.

Can't wait to get Bat Gear Solid. Hmm I wonder if my Batman costume from Kindergarten still fits...after 17 years.

I was actually imagining Batman with a Solid Eye and mustache the other day while thinking about this game.

Hopefully they toned down the stupid amount of slow-motion punches. I played a kiosk demo, and every other goddamn punch was in slow-motion. It was enough to make Zak Snyder blush.

Yeah, I hate slowdown punches, that and the bats everytime you defeat a guy.
Loses it's punch after a while.

Eh? I don't see how those two things are related.

both games are available on the ps3 and 360. neither are on the wii. however, those games appeal to me more than the games available or in development for the wii.
I own a wii. I do not own a ps3 or 360. i can't afford to get either console unless i sell my wii and peripherals and games.. but i don't know what to replace the wii with because the games I want are multi-platform.
Make sense now?

360 is cheaper by half price and you can buy a 20gb hd for that for like 20 dollars on ebay

yeah but ps3 40gb go for around 250 on ebay, so it really depends on if you want halo and gears or if you want killzone, resistance, god of war and little big planet. Multiplat games tend to be better on 360 though because it's easier to develope for. also depends on which controller you prefer (i personally prefer the 360)

Thanks for all the input. Since I started med school a couple of years ago I'm not a hardcore gamer anymore - hence the wii, which I only got because I thought girls who come over would like it - and since the games I want are pretty much all multiplat (Batman, FFXIII, GTA, MGS, etc.) I'm actually concentrating more on multimedia abilities.
MS seems to have done a great job with that by getting licenses with netflix, etc. But Blu-Ray... and I never got to play FFXII since I sold my PS2 before it came out. But PS3s don't even have BC anymore (WTF?) and I'm sure both will have Hulu eventually, but MS has been buying up great exclusives.
Ugh, it's actually a hard choice, both platforms are attractive. I don't know how these hardcore fanboys defend these systems so much. They both seem good. Maybe if i were a 14 year old kid I'd understand it.
