PSN Thursday: The Punisher will shock you to your Qore

The American PSN update today isn't quite as interesting as the European one, but it's still got an okay amount of content. Punisher: No Mercy has been released, alongside the latest episode of Qore and the normal amount of DLC. PSP fans can choose from a selection of new games, including Capcom Classics Collection Remixed. There are also some more PS3 and PSP themes and some Rock Band Unplugged DLC.

What, no Trine?! It's a sad day.

Seriously. We have the holiday weekend coming up and I'm going to have guests over for the weekend... a perfect time for some local co-op. Mistake, IMO.

Do remember that America is not the world. Plus, the July 4 weekend would be the worst time for video games, because while a bunch of people will be playing them, I'd assume that most won't.

That said, I do wish it would come out already.

I want The Punisher and I'm a subscriber to Qore so I wonder whats free this month?

While I really liked this game and play it every now and again, I didn't think enough people played it to warrant some more maps.

Funny thing is.. the multiplayer stopped working after an update came out for the game today... I just got this game yesterday.. >_

Still Alive isn't free? That's kind of disapointing. I'll buy it anyways though.

I can't find Still Alive in the PS Store or the in-game one, so either they changed their minds or Canadians aren't allowed to have it.

I've held off on re-subscribing to Qore, because I got an email saying something about staying tuned for a re-subscription offer...must now check my archives to see if something slipped through my fingers.

I haven't seen mine either.

If you go into the Playstation Store, there's a special re-subscription deal in the Qore category for $19.99, which I think is $5 off the normal price.

Is it really done already? I was under the impression it was still being worked on, and it almost seemed like they hadn't started until after the announcement.... although, to be honest, I haven't been paying close attention since I plan on trading in the original and picking up the GOTY edition later with all the DLC on disc...

Be aware that your Fallout save game will almost certainly not work with a new disc with a new BLES number.

And has any Qore subscriber got the email about a discount, cause l just checked and havent.

and if you get a subscription ($25 a year), you get some pretty cool bonuses every once in a while. i got calling all cars free, the socom beta free, the resistance 2 beta free, syphon filter (PS1) free... you get the idea.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm not so much 'bored', but wouldn't mind a mindless FPS to toy around with for the long weekend ahead. And as long as the game isn't dreadful, I'll plop down the 10 spot for it...

From my Euro friends lm hearing its rocking...and for 10 dollars, seems like a steal to me.

So there are no specials for those who subscribed on day 1? I'm fine with paying $25 again, but still, I was expecting some kind of special. I might wait a week to buy this just in case.

Even if you never access Qore, you really, really should buy it. They spoil the crap out of their users.

Sure, they give you a 10$ game and 10$ off their 25$ product for resubscribing .... dude, if that were the way they make business, I wouldn't not surprised seeing them going out of business 2 years ago. Yeah, that would be so bad that they would go bankrupt retroactively.

Something tells me Punisher will be free in Qore a few months down the road(or "Free" from Sprint ¬_¬)......but if its REALLY good I'll end up buying it. Just have to wait for the PS Nation Review on it next week....

Well, if you like Unreal Tournament but always thought "This would be so much better if these guys were Punisher characters" then I do believe this one's for you. 'Cause it just feels like UT was modded to fit into the Punisher universe. I'm diggin' it so far.

I like it, but i wish u could be able to customize the controls.

Well, Still Alive was a no show. It wasn' t mentioned in the Playstion Blog, either. Bad info? I was looking forward to that one.
And let me add my volice to the masses that are asking "Where is our Fallout 3 DLC?!? End of June, my ass!

Both happy and upset about Punisher. It sucks that you have to pay to find out the rest of the story, but that might include more map's, guns, perks and characters. Better be cheap though.
