Trine is a game with a lot of buzz surrounding it, and for good reason. It's an ambitious title, to say the least, and we're glad to report that the game will be available on Steam today for your downloading pleasure. The game's a bit on the pricier side ($29.99), but provides plenty of bang for those bucks, including three different playable characters, 15 different levels, and co-op for up to three players. Oh, and if you pre-ordered, don't forget about your free copy of Shadowgrounds.
Just do us one favor before you download: Make sure you put on your robe and wizard hat. Thanks.

Their cloaks pale in comparison to Doom's.

Is there online co-op for the PC version? Even if I can play on my LAN, I'll be happy.

No online co-op at all.. It was rumoured to be part of the 360 version, but we have no idea if/when that's coming anymore.
I'm tempted to just get this on the PSN, assuming it goes up tonight, but I think I'd rather wait and see if anything comes of the 360 one.

Get a hold of yourself man! She's gone, GONE! And she's never coming back! But you have to be strong, you hear me? *Sniffle* You hold onto her terrifying image in your head and remember all the good times you shared. *Sob* As long as you do that, she'll never truly be gone.

Really? I played through the Steam demo, and it seemed like little more than a mash-up of Magic Sword/Magician Lord/Bionic Commando and a few other puzzle-filled platformers. Yes, it's a beautiful game, and I'll most likely purchase it when it lands on XBLA, but "ambitious" is not a word I would use to describe what I've seen so far. What am I missing?
