That last bit likely has a little something to do with the developer's most recent game, Gothic 3, being a tad buggy. Three months will, hopefully, be enough time to work any issues out.

Jeanne D'Arc is not only the best RPG on the PSP but I would go as far to say it's the best RPG this generation and is up there in the top 10 of all time. It's more of an SRPG like Valkyria Chronicles (though way different) but seriously that game is damn fun and addictive. I had beaten it and put about 60+ hours into the game on my first plathrough ... now I'm playing again and collecting the rare items and gems I migh have missed. I love how on the second time through all the enemies are so much stronger and that it plays out differently.
Great game ... Same developer that did Rogue Galaxy on the PS2 and White Knight CHronicles on the PS3 (which is also awesome btw).

I read about this in OXM, it sounds pretty great, like what Two Worlds shoulda been. Still kinda wary about it, relatively unknown euro developers dont exactly have the greatest track record

Piranha Byte's isn't a relatively unknown developer. They're responsible for one of the greatest RPG series of all time.

i never played gothic and only heard bad things but will accept your insistence that it's good. However for every gothic and the witcher and The Darkness there are dozens of Two Worlds and Call of Juarez'

I am so pumped for this game. I've been craving a deep fantasy RPG for awhile now. Fable was fun but not what I'd call a serious or deep RPG.
I like the WoW esque action bar and tool tips and love the art direction thus far.
Hope it plays smooth on the 360.
