It looks more like Tribes really, which is a good thing - the jetpack mechanic hasnt really been expl;oited well in this gen, adds an extra "dimesion" to gameplay. An wonder why its a great sin for a game to play just like Halo, but not for Halo itself to play just the way it did 8 ywears back with barely any innovation or improvement in the gameplay?

Why is anyone even slightly reminded of Halo? I really don't see any comparison. Tribes definitely, but not Halo at all.

Halo + Crysis = Section 8
Did I do the math right?

So, I'm assuming this game is about poor black people who smoke crack, have 2 new babies per year, and drive brand-new Escalades. Am I right?

If you don't understand, Google it.

This game reminds me of The Conduit. The game looks like a lot of fun, but it also looks generic.

Generic stock sound. Sounds like selecting a mission in GoldenEye 007. :D

Hey, tribes is back. Looks pretty cool honestly, the melee on the big guys where they grab you looks pretty cool, I'd be interested to see how that works out. Could be pretty sick.

Love the Z-axis gameplay. Too many FPS lack that these days. It reminds me of Unreal 2 XMP or UTXMP - a great, if underplayed game.

The biggest problem with Section 8 is that it's coming out in the fall. Played it at E3 and it's nothing to get super excited about, but still entertaining. If it came out now or Q1 next year I'd consider it. I still don't understand how developers of games like this think they can compete with games like MW2 and Halo:ODST and hope to survive. Yet year after year we get virtually nothing from April to August and an absolute clusterf*ck September thru December.

Why does halo have to be mentioned in every FPS genre? It wasn't the first futuristic FPS you know...

Anyhows. This smells like Planetside from what everyones been saying.
Thats no bad thing imo, Sony made a balls of Planetside so someone taking the idea and making good of it is great.

It's unfortunate that people don't appreciate a good, pure FPS anymore.
