Happy Birthday, America! Let us be the first to say -- and we really mean this -- you've aged spectacularly well. How old are you? Two-hundred and thirty-three? No, that can't be right. Seriously, you look like you're still in your thirties! No wrinkles, no unsightly varicose veins, no ... well, okay, your Dakotas are sagging a bit, and your Florida has certainly seen better days, but on the whole, you've still got it goin' on. You know what they say -- two-hundred and thirty-three is the new twenty, you saucy, saucy cougar.

While not celebrating our decadent independence or hitting on entire nations, we managed to find our seven favorite gaming-themed webcomics from this past week. I concur. It was definitely the best comic in this week'S roundup. Even though I liked BitF's, I'm going to hand my vote this time to 2P for making such a hilariously true comic strip.

agreed... utterly. this is one of the weakest lineups in a LONG time.

Digital Unrest won it for me, despite the fact that its a terrible pun. Brawl in the Family and Monday Night Crew were also in contention.

DU would have been funnier if the panels had been switched and the caption boxes had been removed.

Hey. We chose to go with anamorphic characters to have them stand out in an otherwise crowded videogame webcomic crowd. Well, that and our artists hates drawing human characters. His style of drawing leads him to a more cartoony look.

I want to vote for the penny arcade one about the Fallout DLC, but you don't seem to have a Penny Arcade option in the poll.... *confused*

They didn't do one about Fallout 3 this week... just two parts of that Lookouts series they're experimenting with, and one WoW-related thing.

I think he is trying to be funny by saying Virtual Shackles is copying Penny-Arcade, but he is fail.

Though that doesn't make it untrue... geez, they copied everything about PA! But i guess at least they did a good job of it. A perfect copy is better than a poor one.

Did anyone actually play Overlord or Overlord 2? The game is frickin' Pikman with a huge demon guy chucking goblin minions instead of little flower guys. Between Little Kings story and Overlord 2, you should have no problems waiting for Pikman 3.

My housemate played quite a lot of it, and yeah I totally agree.

We are indeed fortunate to be living in a progressive democracy where we have birth rights and freedom of speech.
I only wish that one day people in Africa, China, Korea, Iran, and several other countries where people do not have freedoms like ours may one day too have a similar government as ours where they can live lives freely.

Also, on another note, Australia's video game laws suck!

..and korea is a democracy... i'm off there on vacation in a few weeks.

You may be fortunate to live in a progressive democracy but your education apparently sucks.
Also Democracy isn't always the best form of gov't, so keep that in mind.

that is the STUPIDEST comic series I have EVER read. I literally just spent a half an hour clicking through page after page *wanting* to like it because the art style is appealing, but the stories are stupid, the execution is weak, there are random "other" comics randomly peppered in between actual story pages.
