Wolfenstein motion comic serves up action with a side of cheese

GameTrailers has posted a new Wolfenstein motion comic. We're not quite sure how to feel about it really. Sure, it's nice to see B.J. Blazkowicz doing what he does best. We also like that Wolfenstein's famous chain gun-wielding Hitler once again gets what he deserves. Still, the whole thing is just so cheesy. If we didn't know better, we'd say that B.J. is trying to fill the one-liner chasm that has been left by the dearly departed Duke Nukem.

Don't take our word for it though, watch it after the break and see what you think.

Interesting. This animation seems to be a (very brief) retelling of pieces of the original Wolfenstein 3-D episodes 1 and 3. Appropriate, given that the classic game is on XBLA now.

Animation was pretty cool. The Noir style reminded me of the comic interludes from the first Max Payne. Alas, the one-liners were pretty groan-inducing. B.J. was always a bit more modest than Duke. (But then, who isn't...)

You are the biggest pile of joke I have ever seen. Whoever wrote that petition (probably you) is a tard and cannot either use a spellchecker or has any grasp of how punctuation is used. It is probably the most worthless petition ever invented, and also, upon looking at the current votes, only 7 people have wasted their time on it. I reckon that 6 of those votes are you from various computers at where you work.

Glad I'm not German. I'm not sure I'd much enjoy playing a game where my fellow countrymen are portrayed as little more than crazed goons to be cut down by the player's machine gun. :P

...Which means I'm now free to enjoy cutting down a great many crazed German goons, lol!

Umm, I thought this was awesome! Of course it's cheesy, thats the point, it perfectly captures the spirit of wolfenstein imo. When mutant chaingun hitler popped out I laughed like hell. Perfect advertisement for the game I think.

Wolfenstein 3D was so awesome when I was like 4 years old. I played Wolfenstein because playing Doom scared me a little bit XD

@ &rew: Mafia it was not invented by italians... it was spread in Japan a lot early then in Italy (it's history) and it is in every angle of the planet. Fat people drinkers and hot dogs eaters, resources suckers and Jeep drivers are typical americans. It's not me.. just listen to YOUR press.

@ engler: The average italian eat 'pasta', drink water or wine and drive a small car and it's well mannered (we have those idiots too, but FAR LESS). It's not that bad.
