i think we should have a comment system like FML's one. having 2 minutes after commenting to edit it. that way, trolls can't change what they say after people call them out on it, and we can still go back and fix whatever errors we had.

What's there to be surprised about, the PS3 always sells in Japan. It's the 360 that isnt really selling well.

Except well is streching it. It took the PS3 something like 45 weeks excluding the first three days after launch to pass the 10k mark agian. They now sit pretty regularly at 11k but its still just 45k a month. Which compared to the US numbers in the 200k-300k and even higher during x-mas, its a small junk of change.

360 beat DS, so that's impressive.

I'm just saying that its nice to see the PS3 sell at a more constant rate, unlike it did before.

And we all are well aware of the 360 stance in Japan.

11k for the week is "well" but 5k is not? Okay then.

And outselling DS Lite isn't impressive, since Japan's pretty much dropping that in favor of DSi. :|

It's the middle of summer, there's not much of anything out or coming out for a while. That Batman game's coming out next month, but I'm not sure how many people besides me are excited for that one :\

There have been plenty of games released this Summer that are better than that Batman game. I can't speak for the entire Batman Arkham Asylum game but I played the demo in store and the combat was clunky as hell. Not impressive at all.

The demo was amazing. Sadly, I only got to play it for a minute or so at my local Sony store. There was a huge crowd waiting to play it, most under 15 years old and I felt a little embarrassed among them. I regret not sticking around for longer . . . damn my insecurity.
But the combat felt more fluid than anything I've played before.
I'll do my best to buy the game, or at least rent it.

joystiq doesn't seem the same without sprinkles. ever since he got IP banned, all the other ridiculous trolls like cody haven't been around as much either. i can't believe i'm saying i miss them... but i miss them.

"Sprinkles" (and other "people" like that) make life hard for the people who work here that would rather spend time writing quality content than banning people for acting like ill-mannered children. I can imagine that you folks can appreciate that. Aside from wasting our time, those kinds of actions make actual conversation far more difficult than it should be. Just because we're online does not mean we're anonymous and it most certainly doesn't mean we're not accountable. I don't miss "Sprinkles" and I hope everyone here can understand my reasoning.

I don't think anyone would argue banning Sprinkles was wrong, he had it coming for a long time, and although I did enjoy the casual crucifixion of Sprinkles when he posted something ridiculous, he was getting pretty boring. Kind of like a decent show that has had a few seasons too many.

i agree with tmac. pushing high people down stairs is a favorite pastime of mine.

I know people don't have to get high to have a good time. I'm not even advocating what he do. I just feel that it's stupid that this almost ruined the guy's career. He was suspended for a few months and a few companies pulled their endorsements from him.

Meanwhile, athletes like Ray Lewis get away with(at least) having knowledge about a double murder.

Yeah. A price cut would do wonders, but you know how much the Japanese like their assorted colors and smaller things.
