LFD2... You know, I didn't play the first one, but all this controversy around it is really getting me interested.

I just bought a new Dell XPS 13. Does anyone think I should get it for PC?

It's a really great game, but it can get old fast depending on the type of gamer.

Left 4 Dead is a very good game, in my opinion. I've put in a couple hundred hours since launch. I think many of the people who complain that the game is "too short" look at the game the wrong way. They're looking at the game from a single-player viewpoint rather than a multiplayer viewpoint. The maps are meant to be replayed over and over and the AI director does a good job at keeping things not too predictable.

As for Left 4 Dead 2, I think it will be even better. It sounds like they've fixed a lot of the quirks from the first game such as stacking into a corner during crescendo events. The level design also looks to be more open which is nice.

hell id love any old lucas arts game, a new rogue squadron, kotor 3, or shit even more adventure game revivals, but please please be battlefront 3!

there's so many fucking awesome sequels they need to make! Auggghhh!! Battlefront 3, KOTOR 3, Rogue Squadron whatever number, Bounty Hunter 2, Jedi Knight 4, TFU 2, and all the classic stuff!! Auggh!! They'll never make all of them and it'll kill me!

They said it would please "old school fans" and it wouldn't be directly connected to anyone franchise. Frankly, I'm shocked at the ignorance of Kotaku for even implying it might be Battlefront 3. Who considers Battlefront "old school"?

Now that games like Sam & Max and Monkey Island have proved popular again, I'd put money on Lucas Arts re-releasing a lot of their old games on Steam or something.
