Bustin' makes Sackboy wear a hood

Sony has finally revealed the answer to its LittleBigPlanet-related teaser question, "Who ya gonna call?" It turns out that it was the Ghostbusters. You are gonna call the Ghostbusters.

The PlayStation Blog revealed a poster of a Sackboy wearing a white, hooded sweatshirt, which makes the LBP avatar resemble the ghost character from the Ghostbusters logo. While it doesn't answer all the questions we have (is this a downloadable costume? Is it free? Will there be Ghostbusters-related levels? Is the "no" symbol part of the costume?) the latest update on LittleBigPlanet suggests that some Ghostbusters-related content is on the way. We think.

it definitely is, you can see it bulges out at his chest and is made of cloth. if it isnt, i'm sorry for giving you false hope.

I hope this is level packs like they did with MGS. Maybe they could have levels based off the two movies and the recent game. Maybe even a proton pack add-on like the paintinator in the MGS level

I'm sick of costume packs tbh, don't add anything to the gameplay.

For me this is hard to swallow having to wait for the 360 version of ghostbusters in the UK because Sony bought the publishing rights to the game..... and CYNICALLY delayed the release of the game on other formats. There is competition, and then there is cynisism... it stinks and most gamers who arent fanboys will see what I see.

Fair enough.... but that is still extra cost and unnecessary hassle. I wouldn't go as far as the ranter linked, but you have to admit that is a bit of a pathetic move by Sony.

Microsoft has it's exclusives and so does Sony. They will both continue this kind of stuff for as long as they are in the gaming business. It's just the way it is. You'll get yours and others won't, and sometimes you won't get yours and others will. Win some, lose some. Life goes on. The early bird gets the worm. A rolling stone gathers no moss. A penny saved is a penny earned. A chain is as strong as it's weakest link. Know what I mean?

You're lucky Sony is releasing it at all on the XBox 360. It wouldn't even have been published in the UK if it wasn't for Sony so I would stop complaining.

I would bet that if Microsoft had payed for the publishing rights, it wouldn't even be coming out on the PS3. You're just being pathetic and complaining for nothing.

Also, how is this any different to Microsoft paying for exclusive DLC (GTA, Fallout3 etc.) or timed exclusives (i.e. Rock Band)? That's a lot worse in my view.

It's one thing buying the rights to DLC, which has been done by all the major companies, it's quite different buying publishing rights and excluding gamers from a game that is complete and rwady to ship on all systems. I'm not even buying the game! I was simply voicing my concerns over this issue...

Not really sure why people need to downvote something simply because they don't agree with the opinion of a reader... I thought it was to display total horror at something that is unsuitable, rude, or downright offensive?

If Microsoft had done this I would have been equally offended, but it wouldnt have affected me as I do not have a PS3. I admit I may not have raised the issue... Anyway I was just trying to get some constructive discussion on this going, which largely it has, but there are a lot of Sony fans in this thread who turn instantly defensive at any critisism of their company... let's all relax, and enjoy our respective gaming platform.
