N+ is $7? I thought it was going to be $5.
I've heard it was good, but other than that, wow what a slow week. When a sports game is the highlight of the week, and it isn't Tiger Woods or Madden, something is clearly wrong.
Also, what happened to the shovelware on DS? I can't remember the last time the DS didn't have 20 games coming out, at least half of them ending in a "z".

I tried the Bigs demo last night and I absolutely hated it. Is it so much to ask to get an "arcadey" baseball game that is on-par with or better than SEGA Saturn's World Series Baseball II / '98? Modern baseball game mechanics put me off, and it is even more disheartening when the arcade variant is so convoluted with input commands and plays out so over-the-top.
Definitely BF1943 for me this week I guess, maybe Monkey Island as well.

Yeah that's all that looks worth the cash this week.
I rented Prototype and played that this weekend. Did anyone play that game without getting pissed at it? WTF is with the missions taking so long and then amping the enemies up out of nowhere each time. It felt like every main battle was spent running in circles to avoid instant death while enemies popped up out of nowhere over and over. In one battle a tank spawned on top of me. I found it to be a frustrating title. infamous > prototype for sure.

The slow summers never bother me because I already have too many games to get through as it is. Plus, I have a terrible habit of just buying any new, big game that comes out. For now, Wii Sports is the only thing I'll get this month... I think.

If i was stranded on a desert island with only an Xbox and my HDTV and allowed only one game for the rest of my life, it would be Fallout 3. I'm just finishing up Broken Steel (I have been neglecting my poor Fallout since trying to get 10th prestige on COD: W@W). Can't wait to play Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, not to mention Fallout 3: New Vegas in 2010. Bethesda you rock!

I'm still genuinely surprised at comments like this. I get wanting to try out a sequel to Wii Sprts and all, since it's still probably the most played game on most peoples' Wiis, but to be counting down the days to release just seems a little overzealous to me. Then again, I'm sure people camped out for tickets to Transformers 2, as well.
