Umm, yeah, I know to press the HD button. That's what expands it to 480p. Watching it in full screen mode just stretches the 480p signal.

You must either be blind, running your desktop at a 480 res, or have some sort of technical issue with youtube's videos.

To show evidence that YouTube HD videos do indeed run at 480p, I set my display's resolution to 1280x800, clicked the HD button on the video in question, and took a screen capture. As you can see from the link below, the video is not running at 1280x720, as it would have filled the display if that were the case. Setting the video run in full screen only stretches the image, it does not run it at the display's current resolution.

@Mazzani,

This is what I got when I did the same thing. It's a perfect 1280x720, no stretching. As bm said, "You must either be blind, running your desktop at a 480 res, or have some sort of technical issue with youtube's videos."

Haha, now I get it. You didn't click full screen (it's the one to the right of the HD button). See how it's X-ed out in my pic?

It's like... why even bother playing on the real console when emulators can do better than it?

Yeah, except it's missing like half the shaders. It looks like shit running on an emulator compared to the real thing, regardless of screen resolution.

I'm just saying in general, it's funny how emulators ends up surpassing the original systems in most ways.

I play all my PS1 games on an emulator, looks a whole lot better with all the higher resolution, antialiasing, shading and what not.

Slaziman: eww, just eww. Get away from me. D: That's the worst thing you could ever do to a PS1 game. Running those games at high res turns even the best looking PSX generation games into a horrible, horrible mess of polygons. Eww.

Between the 720p games and the installing the motion drivers, any one with a powerful PC wouldn't need wii Since it does the job better.

Plus they seem to have to individually emulate, so you're not getting the whole catalogue nearly.

Man, I just wish that the next Nintendo console will be able to play the old Wii games, and re-render them completely in HD. Not only stretch them.

You guys should check SSBB in HD. I was really blown away.

What the hell? That's chugging like a little bitch. Don't give me any of this 'fraps only supports 30fps!' nonsense. And it looks shit. Dolphin is not ready to be used IRL.

Yeah it is. It's a small team and they have to configure each game individually. Go look at their videos of Animal Crossing City Folk.

If anything this just shows how full of shit Nintendo is this generation.

Wait, you can emulate wii games with a gamecube emulator?
I would think it would take at least two emulators duct-taped together.

I would love a hi-def version of star fox..
I would buy the next gen wii, If there was going to be a starfox HD, I love that game and with wiimote it could be very very interesting.. Interesting to see what Nintendo will do from here, they have enough reserves to take a risk, I would have though anyway..

this totaly useless this emulator is WIP(work in progress) reviewing emulators in this state misleeds ppl, SMG can now be fully playable but a couple of revisinons later it might not, so just stop reviewing an unfinished emulator, noobs see this and start judging dolphin when in reality it not finished
