If, for some unfathomable reason, Ludwig's review of Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal didn't have ye partin' with yer pieces of eight for the full game, perhaps a free demo is what ye be after. Our mateys at BigDownload have weighed anchor on the 187MB download and it's yers for the takin' -- without any waitin' -- over at their site. Oh, and we wouldn't try runnin' it on a pirated operatin' system if we were you. Savvy?

Order from Telltale and they'll send you the DVD when it's all released anyway. They were also doing a special edition where you get a limited edition cover made by Steve Purcel.

That's as close as you're going to get to a retail release.

Oh, and Shag, you can pre-order the whole season through Telltale, and then just pay shipping for the boxed release when it comes out.

I have to say the demo was stellar! I sort of want to wait for a possible 360 release, though... I have too many other games on the go right now anyway...

They're being released monthly, but there's no word on an exact date.
If you hate it that much though, you could always just wait for the whole thing to be released before playing :P

I think the episodic thing works great here.
