HEY! I happen to be wearing my totally kick ass Guitar Hero shirt right now, it makes me play Guitar Hero better, but I was more proud of it back in the Guitar Hero 2 days however

I'll wait until they're on clearance, 20 GH games down the road, for $9.99 each. With all the games in this genre and the abundance of DLC (well, for Rock Band, anyway), I don't have any pressing desire to pick up these games anytime soon. But I'll admit that I do enjoy them immensely.

Don't knock the gamewear. Some of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band caps are quite nice. The shirts, eh, not so much.

part of the badness is because they only come in XL. i have to shrink most adult smalls for a good fit! not all gamers are giant fatties...

Best Buy had, and some still have, several Guitar Hero and Rock Band shirts in Adult sizes S, M, L, and XL. The free Gears of War shirt BB had at the midnight launch was a large. So it's not all XL.

I'm into the music games, I have the Rock Band set-up permanently in our apartment, etc., but seeing that Wii box for "Guitar Hero: Metallica" just looks so wrong, it seems so against what Metallica used to mean to me when they had their first couple of albums... it's like I caught a flash of the hate and anger that others levy on these music games.
Strange.
I'm back now.

Where the hell is the metal???? f*K ROCK band & GH WORLD TOUR.... GH2 was killer ill admit the classic rock was kool. but ok enough of the lets cater to EVERYONE... and lets cater to EVERYONE SEPARATELY... wheres the METAL BAND? COUNTRY BAND? BLUES BAND? POP BAND? start making genre specific rockband/gh. GH METALLICA Is awesome.. how about slayer.. pantera maiden sabbath.... over kill anthrax... i mean seriously how many ppl that are into music listen to EVERYTHING?????? certainly not me... i listen to METAL... but im not selfish.. make it metal.. then make it country. make one blues.. make one pop make one r&b or rap.. whatever...

I can't stand these useless posts, especially on unrelated articles. Did you even read the article, or just see the topic of Guitar Hero, and you had to share your musical tastes.
At least wait until there is a DLC announcement or tracklist to fill out the obigitory opinion checklist ---
"(insert band) (choose "kicks ass"/"can lick my nutz")! Screw (insert an opinion different than my opinion)! I want to see some more (insert band/genre/song)!"

I agree completely with murple1. Rock Band and Guitar Hero can afford to make genre-specific games and should. I am a fan of metal and classic rock, but if you're a fan of country, alternative, or pop rock, you should be catered to as well.
