So, Blizzard and PopCap have teamed up create 10 World of Warcraft-themed Peggle levels, which you can grab now for no money whatsoever. Exciting news? Maybe. But we can't help but wonder at what point the DEA needs to step in and start regulating this kind of stuff.
Like, this is is a combination of Peggle ... and World of Warcraft. At what point does, "Oh, sweetie, you're so addicted to Peggle! <giggle>" become, "You just blacked out on the keyboard for the 17th time, and I'm leaving you for Tracy and taking the kids with me"?

So is this an update or a seperate game or is it in-game Peggle for WoW or what? Because if I can get this via update on my iPhone version, then AWESOME.

In-game Peggle for WoW already exists (and it's free!), and I thought that's what the post was about. But no, now they've got WoW in my Peggle!

Seems like it's just a standalone version of the Peggle addon for WoW.

Might want to check that last sentence there, Justin.
In other news, I'm really into Peggle, and not into World of Warcraft at all, so I'm not sure what to think about this. I'm sure the other commenters will give me a variety of options to choose from.

If Tracy is a she, my fiancee may leave me for her anytime she likes...

Ugh, this is the second site I've read this news on....and neither of them included a link. Am I missing something?
For everyone else searching, it took me a bit, but I found it: http://www5.popcap.com/promos/pegglewow/

Does anyone else think it is sad that people create these games to fill Dead Time in a title that Customers pay a fixed fee per month for?
Why do MMORPG players accept these systems?
I enjoy World of Warcraft a lot, but it totally annoys me the way they exploit the player base.
It annoys me even more that so many people, while they may not like it, passively accept it.

I have to confess this. I hate Peggle.
I downloaded this version, in hopes that I'd finally "get it", but no. The balls still go nowhere I want them to, the catcher in the bottom mocks me and the Random Number God puts the red pegs in the most annoying places.
It's like Dr Pepper. Me and it just don't belong together.

One of the great things about in-game money and virtual economies is that they never went through this whole economic meltdown. So take that to all of those people who think the real world is better then computer games!
