Jack Cayman (MadWorld), Ridley (Metroid), King K Rool (DK Country), Viewtiful Joe, Zant and Midna (Twilight Pincess), Little Mac (Punch-Out!!), Cecil and Golbez(FFIV), Blob (de Blob), someone from Battalion Wars, Megaman. There are others I can't think of, but I have ideas... :P

Travis Touchdown would be awesome, though.

Watch the Melee intro video, and look specifically at the size difference between Samus and Ridley. Ridley is slightly taller than Bowser in comparison, so why the hell couldn't they just do that again? Besides, did you ever stop to think that normally Olimar is the size of a quarter, and yet they put him in Brawl? Funny, because I thought the other fighters would squish him. Guess not, since Nintendo can resize their own characters however the hell they want to.

If they can multiply the size of Olimar by thousands, why not make Ridley slightly smaller (reduce him from the length of the Blue Falcon to a bit bigger than Bowser).

I think the "charge the katana" move would keep him out of a Nintendo-developed game.

Why's that? Replace the katana with a can, and you get the can shaking minigame in Mario Party 8

Travis in a fighter (either Super Smash Bros, a 3D, or a 2D/2.5D) would be awesome.

My SSB roster would have to include Ray Mk 2 (Custom Robo) Knuckles and maybe someone from Animal Crossing (Resetti or Nook?) and I agree with pretty much all of the people Muff mentioned. But yeah, Travis would be my #1 pick for new character =D

Travis Touchdown would make a Super Smash Bros. game become M-rated. You don't have a guy that says "Fuck head!" after killing someone in a T-rated game.

Nintendo could slightly alter Travis' personality so that he didn't yell "fuck head" while killing people. ...But then he just wouldn't be the same...

PS- Anyone still angry that Suda wants to move the series to 360 and use Natal? I know I am!

He didn't say he wanted to move it to the 360 and the Natal. He said he wants to move it to another console with more power, and on a completely separate occasion, he said he liked Project Natal.

Right, and Snake isn't a mature character either.

Really, Travis doesn't have to use the beam charger (why would he, in Smash, anyway? It would totally break the action); he doesn't have to shout obscenities all the time. Just as Snake doesn't have to make comments full of innuendo all the time.

Most Smash characters are pretty quiet anyway, but they keep their personality.

No Roto, he just planted mines, threw grenades and shot guided missles. I don't know why they didn't give him a pistol or something. I guess as long as it shoots anything but bullets (lazers, peanuts, etc.) it's ok.

Explosives are more cartoony than bullets. Especially when you pull a rocket launcher out of nowhere and fire it. :P

My question is this: with the Professor Layton Twitter comments about being invited to the Grand Smash Tournament recently... and now here is Smash Bros. being talked about again by a news outlet of credible status...

Is something going on behind the scenes or are us conspiracy theorists scheming something that does not exist???

Hmmm....

Are you saying there could be 2 Smash Bros. games on the same console? Not likely, sir. Then again, if I recall correctly, Brawl came out earlier in the Wii's life cycle than SSB or Melee on their respective systems.....

Melee was a launch title for Gamecube, and Brawl came out over a year after the Wii's release. The original didn't come out until well into the N64's life cycle.

I personally would like to see if Travis Touchdown included in future SSB's.
Maybe they could have an option to turn off Travis's obscenities?

I'd think it'd be funny if they just bleeped him. Let him have his sailor's mouth, but just literally bleep out the obscenities. That said, maybe a "damn" or two might slip by, since I'm sure that NoA is comfortable knowing that no matter what happens with the violence in the game, it's going to be a T game and not E10+.

Well, a character I think that would be awesome for the series is Sparkster from the Rocket Knight Adventures series. And since that is a Konami game and they already managed to get Snake in, I don't think it would be too much to ask. He's got all the necessary components to be a great brawler.

Pfft, please...

Suda51, Marvelous Entertainment, you're better off challenging Capcom in a VS. game, than being stuck with a supposed fighting game that still has ZERO arcade appearance.

Heck, I'm up for: Marvelous Entertainment VS Capcom

Travis vs Dante
Pip (Luminous Arc 2) vs Roll classic
Karen (Luminous Arc 2) vs Saki (Quiz Nanairo Dreams)
Anis (Steal Princess) vs Jubei (Onimusha Dawn of Dreams)

...for starters, anyone?

Right, because arcades totally have SO MUCH RELEVANCE in the American video game market anymore.

(not that I'm particularly happy about that, mind you, but it is what it is).

Anywho, my wish list of new additions for the next Smash Bros is Ridley, Travis TD, Little Mac, Mega Man, Simon Belmont.

Tell that to the Japanese market, which is home to Capcom and Marvelous.
