This will make me sound like a girl, but I wonder if the character creator and all the outfits and accessories from the console version of SC4 will be present in the PSP version.

I hope so. That has become one of the most fun parts of the game (outside of fighting).
Even the customization of SC3 would be good enough for this game.

Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur.
Where is Sega with Virtua Fighter and snk with a decent Samurai Shodown? I also want street fighter 4 on PSP!

Didn't Sega announce Virtua Fighter 6 during TGS?
With Yu Suzuki's departure, you may not want another Virtua Fighter...

This should, hopefully, bring an end to the banter about the graphics capabilities of the PSP compared to the DS/DSi. You can't do that on the DS or DSi :)

What banter? It's pretty undisputed that the PSP has always been capable of better visuals, particularly 3d games. It's way more powerful.
I love how games get better for Sony systems over time, it's like getting free upgrades every year. I guess that's the power of improving your devkit substantially over time and/or allowing assembly code to write to the hardware.

Yeah, I'm not sure you could find anyone who would make an argument that the DS's graphical capabilities are anywhere near the same level as the PSP's. They'd have to be nuts.
The real thing to compare it to is launch PSP titles. PSP has come a long, long way.

Goodness gracious, that framerate is amazing. I wonder if it will be even more stable as a download on PSPGo with it's faster processor.

Well there we go. That's what I get for not checking Joystiq every 10 seconds, I guess.

I really need to pick up a PSP. Between this and Motorstorm, the catalog is getting much better.

Ashitaka....what??
That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard!!!
Off the top of my head I could name at least 70 Great games. Not to mention the many good ones.
Oh and guess what, the PSP is getting: Assassins Creed, Motorstorm, another Gta, Soul Calibur, Tekken 6, Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, Resident Evil Portable, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Harvest Moon, Unbound Saga, Undead Knights, Jak n' Daxter, Army of Two and many others which will make you take back what you said!!

Soulcalibur games always look good, like SC1 on Dreamcast.

The only games I'll be playing for a while after release are gta ctw, socom, gt, soul calibur, tekken 6, and that new naruto game possibly. I either hope gta ctw is more like gta sa or gta iv with ragdoll physics. Only if medal of honor heroes 3 was announced with better animations and blood like cod 4 (just imagining)
