Baby Chun-Li imparts an important lesson

Photographed by Capcom staffers at last weekend's Anime Expo in Los Angeles, this baby dressed like Chun Li offers a little something we can all learn from.

That lesson, of course, is that this is the last age at which cosplay is morally acceptable. Now go home, wash the gel out of your hair spikes, write it in your adorable NERV diary, and never, ever, forget it.

I dunno about that one. Kids love costumes. My daughter has been dressing herself up as various princesses since she was about 2 1/2.

This is actually a pretty cute custome and as long and the cosplay is wholesome, I don't really see an issue with this.

This is nothing compared to the crazy people that enroll their kids in beauty pagents..

Agree, dress up for little kids is fine since it's usually for imagination. But those kid beauty pageant don't really help the kid's future.

Cosplay makes me realize how great our societies are. No, they're hideous and seeing cosplayers usually makes me want to vomit. What it does demonstrate is how we have so few problems that people are able to commit time and resources to something that grotesque without a care in the world or any real repurcussions (beyond a social life and possibly eliminating the chances of procreation).

So, cosplay on, you mentally disturbed freaks. Just do it far, FAR away from me.

The character in that second picture is Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia
