One of the more profitable items in the late King of Pop's idiosyncratic collection of odds and ends was his ownership of ATV, a music publisher that owned the rights to over 200 songs from the Beatles' repertoire. Years after this acquisition, Jackson agreed to a merger with Sony, forming Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Jackson retained 50 percent of the publishing rights to the Beatles tracks until his recent untimely death -- despite rumors to the contrary, he never sold his stake in the merged company.
Why is this news relevant to you, dear reader? Well, many faux-rockers have been worried that Jackson's passing would affect the final set list for The Beatles: Rock Band. Fortunately, Harmonix recently confirmed to IGN that the game's tracks won't be compromised by MJ's death, or the dispersal of his assets -- including the Sony/ATV stake -- that will take place in the coming weeks. However, we expect that Elephant Man Bone Collector 3 will miss its fall launch window by a sizable margin.

Why is that screenshot so blurry? I really hope this is the last one band game Harmonix does. AC/DC was alright because you could export the songs into your RB2, but if they release anymore that don't export I'm not buying. Exporting songs was the main reason I choose Rock Band over GH.

Imagine if you could play your downloadable songs in Rock Band: Beatles.

Woah, chill out man. I am getting this game, take a breath and read that again, I am getting this game. This is the only band I can think of that deserves a whole game to themselves. I'm guessing you don't have friends that come over regulary and play Rock Band or GH with you because then you would understand what a pain changing discs is. When I have people over just getting to the point where you can actually choose songs takes long enough. Everyone feels they have to look through every single character to choose who they will be (even though they will be looking at the notes and not their character), then you finally get to the song selection screen and someone inevitably accidentally hits the back button. Then you find a song and play it. I don't want to add an extra 5 minutes of menus and disc switching when it is unnecessary. Why would you possibly want all your songs spread out on different discs when you could have them in one location? It's like using a million different cd's when you could just use an iPod.

Remember that time when the white kettle dangled his baby over the hotel balcony? Good times.
I'm gonna miss that kettle and his wacky antics. All we have now is his amazing catalogue of kettle tunes.

If there was anybody weird enough to have slumber parties and nothing more, MJ is it. He was filling in the gap in his life where he missed out on being a kid. He was having a sleepover. Last time I checked, I never got raped at a sleepover. Furthermore, those allegations where brought up by a family with a history of extortion.
Oh, I'm sorry. You must need a dictionary now.

@ FNG & Storm Eagle::The Blood Edge
I am actually sickened by the way some of you, (not everyone, because the majority of people here have been very respectful), have chosen to speak about a person who has died.
Do you fucking parasites even realize what douche bags you come off as ??
I don't fucking care what your personal opinions or beliefs are about Michael Jackson, but to attack a person the way some of you have is absolutely disgusting, and that is why people like you guys are an absolute waste of skin, and the world would be a much better place with you gone !!
Also to everyone that has chosen to spew bullshit about this man's death, (or any other persons death), I hope and pray that each and every one of you will have a family member, (or better yet your whole family), die in the the most vial, painful, and excruciating fashion !! I will then promptly return to this site and say the most vial and disgusting things about your said family member(s), and then we will see how funny you think it is.
Disrespecting the dead is one of the most disgusting things a person can do, and I guarantee that anyone that chooses to participate in such vial behavior will have CARMA to deal with, and such people will suffer unimaginable pain and lose, (and it will be well deserved)!!

Hey paranoid, I find it kind of ironic that you're trying to be morally superior when almost every one of your posts, if not all (didn't read them all through) are just aggressive and rude.
Anyone that wants to sip on a big glass of lulz hypocrisy should click on his name right about now.
