Capcom: Marvel vs Capcom 2 on XBLA July 29, PSN date coming 'soon'

"Soon"? Capcom has their own dedicated section on the PSN unlike most other developers, I think MvC2 will be released today or next week. The reason for the "Soon" is because they don't want to receive a lot of backlash from the 360 party 3 weeks before they get their copy.

Why would they offer the demo to PSN and then turn around and say 'yeeeaah uhhmm we will get it to you...well we don't exactly know when...'. They know but don't want to tell us yet.

I'm guessing the PSN version will hit the 30th even though it hasn't been announced yet.

...because its about to be on... in twenty days!

seriously though when this comes out I will pwn some noobs with spiderman/wolverine/Blackheart.

I am still holding out for Street Fighter Alpha 2

It doesn't matter the delay, I would only get this on the PS3 (I own all three current gen systems).

I just can NOT play 2D fighters with the 360 controller.

It's the exact same ps1 version. N plays decent. But I wanna use my street fighter 4 tournament edition stick NOW on mVSc2 & blazblue. Which is sold out everywhere in Calgary! Despite me preordering, they didn't get enough copies to even cover preorders at any ebgames in Calgary! That's total B$ I want it n this game NOW, oh well, I'll just use my beautiful fight stick with SF4 some more. Which I've played a ton. N wanted a diff fighting game as a break. Plus I loved marvel vs capcom (the original was my fav! 6 buttons dammit!!) but mvsc2 will due, as it's a great game 2. They should release xmen vs street fighter & marvel vs street fighter. I loved those 2 in arcades n played religiously at the university arcade. N beat every challenger. Even the lil Asian super players (most of the time. But damn they came back angry when they lost to a chubby Italian. Like WTF I'm Asian, u can't beat me. Just did biatch

Time to whip out the Dreamcast.....I almost forgot about this game. There is no way I am shelling out $15 just to play this game on line.

I wish I had a console =(. I'd get to take scrubs for a ride before they all quit when they come to the sad realization that Wolverine and Spiderman aren't viable characters.

So... PlayStation 3 gets the exclusive multi-player demo on PSN, but doesn't get the release of the game till after the Xbox 360? Does any of this actually make sense to anyone else? Was Capcom just trying to find a way to post something through PSN for free to avoid download charges? Is this how gaming companies do it now? Come on Capcom, you know better than this. IF you're having technical problems with the game, you can tell us, we'll understand, but why are you leaving us in the dark about this? Or is Microsoft starting to buy you out too. Boy I sure hope not. All that loyalty to Sony all these years with Resident Evil, talking about how Capcom isn't having any difficulty developing for the PlayStation 3 with IGN stating the visuals are clearer on the Xbox 360. What's happening to Capcom's quality games?

This should come out the same as Street Fighter II HD did for Xbox were we get it the same time as them but still probably one day late.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I stopped by Gamestop's site to see if they might have potential date for MVC2 on the PSN and they no longer show the retail version of the game for the PS3. This sorta has me a bit worried. I had preordered the game last month and now it seems it's no longer available. I don't know what this means but my (much like Last Remnant for the PS3) cancellation sense is tingling. Hopefully I'm wrong, but . . . . .
