"Just because there is another C&C game coming doesn't mean the games are good."

If you don't think the games are good why would you want another C&C game at all?

CTC, you're more annoying than Bill O'Rielly at obscuring people's comments/opinions. You're dumbass isn't worth a coherent reply from me or anyone else here.

How did I obscure that in any way? That is exactly what you said, followed by comparing the series to Uwe Boll movies. You just don't like when you can't think of anything to say back so you whine about it.

You did the same thing yesterday when I said the reviews on Metacritic for the C&C games have been good overall. Instead of coming up with any valid point you just whine and try to get a snarky comment in.

I might be interested if it was coming out for Mac like C&C3.

"persistent player progression"

I'm guessing this means RPG elements ala Warcraft 3/DoW 2?

I never understand these comments. Your childhood is still completely intact. If Mechwarrior 1/2/3 etc, and Command and Conquer 1/2 are so great, they are still available to be played. As well, no one is requiring you to play Mechwarrior reboot or C&C4.

My childhood is NOT intact after the Transformers movies and anyone that says otherwise is a reverse vampire pedophile.

@WREturns

It's funny that you said that, because I was going to include a comment in my previous post that even the Transformers movies didn't destroy my childhood, because I still have my DVD and VHS (yeah, I said it) copies of the original animated movie.

". . . allowing for a new "social real time strategy experience." Aren't those called LAN parties?"

Yes, minus the toxic body odor part.

I still play the old red alert for the PC (98?), and there are still people who play online (although they are really good, so it sucks). but their newest games just dont seem to last as long. maybe its just me.

I hope they don't change how it plays too much; I have loved Command and Conquer since Tiberian Sun.

Same. I have loved every C&C since the first, it's easily my favorite RTS series, although Age of Empires comes in a close second.

Although it may appear elsewhere, the 4 tracked-pods dates back to the Mammoth Tank of C&C. The Shagohod looks like a mix of a mammoth tank, a Nod Stealth Tank and a NOD subterranean APC.

YEAAAAAAAAAH!

CNC3 was my favorite game in the series (mainly because RA3 sucked and I built my first windows comp right around the time CNC3 released, so I never played the others), so this is just about the best thing I could have hoped for. I don't know, for some reason Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath were just so much fun to me. This is great.

Well from the one pic this looks good. can't wait to hear more about it. and it'll be nice to finally have an end to the tiberium saga.

Hopefully we can get a generals 2 after this. I was actually one of the people who enjoyed generals a lot. especially the mods for it. just amazing stuff there.

I enjoyed c&c3, mainly because of the map editor. I made a map that was all tiberium. The goal was essentially to win before all your shit melted.

You called out my opinion by saying something that contradicted what you said yesterday. When I said the games had good reviews you couldn't come up with anything but an attempt at a witty comment. Nothing worth reading, no alternative to metacritic, nothing. Look up above, my comments regarding you as a whiner are the ones getting upvoted.

NICE one, WRE.

I need to buy C&C3 and RA3. I loved the others, even Generals. I even liked Emperors Battle for Dune.

There's nothing like buying a C&C game and playing with your brother in lan against 6 AI enemies.

Hi, im Coolness7, you probably know me from Fileplanet, Modding Sites, and even from Tournaments, i just wanted to say that C&C 4 is actually going to be alot more like Tiberian Sun than Tiberium Wars, btw Rise of Legends is a good game, but not unfortunately many people play it online anymore. RA3 would have been super epic if it looked more like generals and not too cartoony.

I loved all the C&C games except Red Alert 2 (RA3 was a lot better though) but I'm not getting this until it's on 360 I can't stand M/KB anymore. I hope EA announces a release date for the 360 version soon as I really want to finish the series.

You seriously like playing with a controller? Maybe you are just so bad at the game that you need everyone else crippled, too.

Actually peeter I find a controller not only much more streamlined but also much more comfortable. I gave up the PC for gaming years ago cause of the lack of proper game pad support.

i still go with pc: more flexibility with options, mods, extras, besides the only strategy game i liked for PS3/Xbox360 was endwar, and it ran well with it.
