Meet / pester Platinum Games in San Diego this month
If you enjoyed MadWorld (and are looking forward to Bayonetta), you'll want to take the chance to meet the fine folks behind those games on Friday, July 24. As part of a promotion for Bayonetta, some developers on the title will be on hand to answer your questions about gigantic heels and how effective they are at killing things. And then there are the prizes, with one lucky individual walking away with a custom Xbox 360.
This little shindig is not open to the general public, however, and you'll need to be at least 21 years old to enter (like all good things in life), so you'll have to win yourself a ticket. Platinum Games will be running several promotions to award folks with tickets, but you can enter right now by following these steps:

MystileArmor @ Jul 9th 2009 2:02AM
At this point it's self defense.
Blank-Mage @ Jul 9th 2009 2:04AM
The zombies have evolved! They're trying to take our brains from a DISTANCE!

Thanks!!
So...where's my present?lol
MystileArmor @ Jul 9th 2009 2:12AM
Ehm.... Sprinkles with boobs was your present? Maybe we can make him jump out of a cake for you?
ArchiGamer @ Jul 9th 2009 2:17AM
Mystile, if I ever saw Sprinkles with boobs jumping out of a cake I would take him beating to a bloody pulp, throw him from a second floor, afterwards cleaning my eyes with acid, drink myself to point of getting short-term memory loss and jumping to a fucking lake of fire!!!!
...Or I could just call the cops.
Foetoid @ Jul 9th 2009 4:48AM
THEN, call the cops.
Blank-Mage @ Jul 9th 2009 2:06AM
"Hello, I hear you are making a game where an attractive woman defeats evil by periodically removing her clothing. I am here to lend my support."
This will go well.
The Beta Max @ Jul 9th 2009 2:25AM
As an attendant of the Joystiq reader meetup, I hope I can attend this as well!
Markez @ Jul 9th 2009 11:22AM
How WAS that anyway? Both me and another stiqer were thinking about driving up from San Diego, but the notice Joystiq gave was way way too short so we couldn't make it happen...
The Beta Max @ Jul 9th 2009 2:46PM
It was crowded but once I found a seat and started talking to people I met a bunch of people who work at video game websites. I also met some Joystiq dudes near the end of the night. I got some swag and got to hear a lot about e3, I will try to make it again next year but will make sure to get there early. Overall it was a fun night.

The only reason I'd want to win a 360 is so I sell it!
