PSN Thursday: Yes, it's Battlefield 1943 time

Battlefield 1943 has arrived -- and it's brought friends. A demo for Ghostbusters, some PS1 games and Buzz! Jr. Robo Jam round off the playable content, peppered with the usual pieces of DLC. PSP owners can pick up two full games and some Rock Band Unplugged DLC.

Hopefully EA will have it's head out of their ass and the Sony Ponies will be able to play a match on launch day. For me I just sit and wait.

they kept showing those videos of it on the PSN and got me all excited for it.....and then delay it. i really can't wait for that to come out, that game is going to be awesome. hopefully we get it next week or something.

im still pissed cause you guys sent out those codes, then the site didn't exist when the time came to redeem them. or did I miss something? I still have a code, but its probably been used or something

I checked the link a bunch of times when the codes were supposed to be valid and it has been dead. :P And to think I had that on my bulletin board, staring at me for weeks.

i went on the website when it went up, i typed in the PSN code, and it said xbox codes only. i was like WTF?!?!?!

no, they released the skins for free over the past few weeks. this has a bunch of new features with it.

When did the American store switch to Pounds and Euros?

Hey, I was just wondering what people who bought BF 1943 thought of it??

Me too... I really want to get this, but would like some views on it first... especially with Gamestop's crazy July sale. That $15 can go towards something epic :P

IT'S FUCKING AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOME

Just play the demo, it gives you 30 minutes of play time limited to Iwo Jima. Once the time is up, it lets you finish whatever match you're in. That's it, though, after that you have to buy the game.

Well without even playing it I can say it's gonna play like a Bad Company mod, re-skinned for WW2, with only 3 classes, and only 1 game mode (conquest). That been said, it'll be awesome for $15 and provide a summer or so worth of FPS gaming easily. The Battlefield series is the best.

Fat Princess should be a pretty big deal on PSN. I don't think it's going to get the record of most PSN downloads, but I think it will still be pretty good.

Why is the American PSN getting one or two PSone Classics a week while the European PSN gets one a month? Sure, we got James Pond 2: Robocod last week, but there's still no sigh of Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Tekken 2...

if the bf1943 demo on the 360 wont connect, tried last night and just now, what are the chances of the full game connecting? i think im going to just skip it.
