I'm not usually into gore-fest games, but man I am totally looking forward to this.

I love the fact that they're really pushing it with the art style. It actually looks considerably intriguing.

Sonic The Hedgehog (PS3) made me want to go to hell.

Yes, but he didn't TELL you as such. Although actions do speak louder than words. In that regard, I suppose he was screaming.

Wow. If this game isn't certified for an AO rating, I don't know what is. But this game just shot up to make my Top 5 most wanted list this year. Simply shocking....

its Funny that God of War 3 is worried about its rating in Australia
I have to see how this gets through the rating board,
But at the same time Its a total buy, God of war 3 and Dante's Inferno excellent combo on the PS3

@nook:
It's very loosely based on The Divine Comedy. At least The Divine Comedy is funny; this one is trying too hard to be dark and grim and somber.
At least with God of War, the aspect of being a vengeance-driven asshole made a lot of sense, given the whole range of Greek mythology that we have about the Greek gods.

Yeah. Why does Hell have to be so dark? De-press-ing! They should brighten up a little. Open the shades, let a little sunshine in. Also, what's up with Dante's attire? Stuffy-much? How about a nice sweater?

Holy shit...this game looks even better now. I thought it was a GoW knockoff before, but it actually sounds pretty cool now.
I'm not too into gore in my games (which is one reason I probably won't get GoW III), but this game seems to do it with as much tact as possible. Not just throwing in gore for the sake of gore. Definitely gonna be a contender with Bayonetta.

I'll probably get both, since Bayonetta comes out like 5 months before Dante's Inferno.

Yes, because the vast majority of us puked all over our keyboards watching this, squeamish minors that we are.
(I had to dissect a deer heart last week, video games had already desensitized me.)

Hey, I'd like to say "no offense"--but I'd be lying. I fully intended to offend you. Your spelling isn't just bad--it's atrocious...and that's coming from someone whose first language was Spanish.
Kids, your parents lied to you. You're not all geniuses. PLEASE pick up a book and start reading. Take some remedial English courses. It's turning into Idiocracy up in this beeeotch.

They really are going all-out on this one, aren't they. Every trailer I've seen has been beautifully grotesque. After the successes of Dead Space and Mirror Edge. Many gamers have witnessed EA's return to form. I hope they continue to push themselves in this direction.
