Just be forewarned that there's discussion of the series' plot and one potential ending for Mass Effect 2, in the event you don't actually want those things spoiled for you. Of course, you could always turn the sound off and just enjoy the amazing-looking visuals.
See the (amazing) Mass Effect 2 gameplay we saw at E3

Now correct me if I am wrong,as I don't know Battlefield 1943 at all, but wouldn't a bolt action rifle have a rate of fire limit built into the game like they do in Call of Duty?
Perhaps it was a semiautomatic rifle and he has a quick trigger finger.

I don't know if I like this 'burn fuel' thing that was mentioned. It didn't work in StarFox Command, and if it works like that in anyway, it won't work here.

Dont whinge about having it spoiled for you when there is a spoiler warning in the text accompanying the video.
My question is: Why the heck did they take out the squad command stuff from the first game :( Also INTERRUPTABLE CONVERSATION.

Hey you can watch the video but stop at the part when he says, "this is not one of the endings, but one of the endings is..." That is the spoiler part.

spoiler queens: stop watching teaser vids or get over it. 20 wasted posts just b!tchin about nothing. we've known shepard could die since E3, thats not 'new' news.
im gettin the feeling i wont be able to keep my ME1 crew together for the sequel. if i cant bring my blue girlfriend along in the next installment im gonna be disappointed. i hope the bring back most of the characters i didnt kill (cough kaiden cough)..

I think the bigger spoiler here is actually that he just confirmed there are endings where Shepard DOESN'T die, which surprises me. I kinda figured s/he was doomed to an early death saving your new characters noobie ass in the first mission.

I wish they'd make another Jade Empire rather than another Mass Effect.

Some destructible environments would be a cool combat aspect of the game.
Like being able to shoot something to make it fall down on the enemy or make a structure collapse on itself to kill people below or on top of it (or in it).
I noticed how much the gun combat has improved. The new reticule is sweet and you can really sense the feel and power of the gun.

Ugh, you need to manage fuel? Do we have to hit Space Exxon stations or call Onstar when we run out of gas? And they've increased the planet exploration? Instead of just determining which of the 5-9 planets to land on we now need to also search the surface for a landing spot?
I'm still going to play the heck out of it but those two points just suck. The Mako/mining parts were so tedious in the first one, especially on insane.

Exactly my thoughts, however one thing it did make me think was maybe it meant that for some reason when you want to travel you have to use planets as bridges, the only thing with that is the ME Relays for what I gather wouldnt consume your fuel. Aslong as that new Mako-like vehicle doesnt use fuel all is well.

I heard "fuel management" and I immediatly thought back to "The Magic School Bus: Space Exploration Game" for the Genesis. I am alone, perhaps, in this realization, but I assure you now, that this game will be SO AWESOME.

I wasn't excited about this game at all until just now. That footage was quite impressive.
Also impressive was Parrish Ley's (the guy at 1:22) mustache. Well done, sir. Well done.

Look Shepard dying is a pretty big deal. Imagine if you spend 60+ hours maxing your shepard out only to have him die at the end? Can you imagine the fan reaction? It would be brutal. I completely understand why they told us this. So i am going to be fully prepared and saving often.

From the sound of it the way for you to not die is by playing the side missions and preparing before you do the final mission. I'm thinking that your gonna get the death ending if you skip all the side missions and just rush through the story.
They've specifically said in one of the interviews that the more time you put into your preparation the less likely you are to die.

I kind of feel bad about not enjoying ME1 I know I should but even after restarting a few times I get to the Citadel and become a Spectre and then get bored.
Once I think I got to Noveria, but that just seemed like a chore than a fun game.

I thought the exact same thing. I actually had played up until Noveria and hadn't played for a couple months. I just went back to it a few days ago and once Noveria was over and I started playing Feros the game got 10x better. I think you just have to get used to the terrible inventory management and understand the entire scope of the combat.

Was not a huge fan of Mass Effect but this looks damn cool. Really digging the whole idea of playing and evolving the same character through 3 games and one massive story.

If you die oh boy let me tell you... You are NOT coming back!
*people are shocked*
So basically does that mean you will have to start a new playthrough of 2 or you will have to start off with a new character in 3? Seems... Weird...
