Valve showing off Left 4 Dead 2's 'Swamp Fever' at Comic-Con

A red-hot press release just landed in our inbox, informing us that Valve will be on-hand at San Diego's Comic-Con to show off a new campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 titled "Swamp Fever." If you're at the show, the game is in the EA Gaming Lounge from 2-9 pm Thursday-Saturday, and 12-5 pm on Sunday, and can be found at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel, 401 K. Street.

The above image is the only piece of media we received from the new campaign, but it's enough to cause wild speculation. Can we get struck by lightning? Do zombies like dancing in the rain? Have the undead found Jesus? We need answers! While we track someone down to find out, feel free to sup on our fresh, new screens in the gallery below.

I tell you son, that 401 K Street leads to nothing but life filled with dissapointment and tears.

Looks awesome. But why does L4D look less in graphic quality than EP 2? They should of just developed a new engine first. Give us a new look. Don't get me wrong, the Source engine is great and all but a bit dated.

Why? because more people can play their games at good framerates. most PCs sold in the past 3 years can play l4d with relative success. this means more $ for valve and less money spent on new graphics cards. I actually think source looks amazing for the performance that you get tbh.

Graphics scale on PC, its not one size fits all like the console.

These graphics look worse than L4d1.

That would be because those are daytime levels. l4d 1 didn't have any of those. I get what you mean though. But I don't think that valve should 'redo' the engine, if they just added some prettier lighting and explosions (explosions already look pretty good though) it would be great. the character models are gorgeous and i have never seen a better facial animation system.

Yea but talking about performance. Look at Dead Rising 2. 7000 zombies on screen confirmed. Its good that they are trying to appeal to even low end pcs but why not step it up? Heres hoping EP 3 will be something amazing.
