I've gotten back into CC big time as of late. Some guy added me to party chat out of the blue and wanted to 'boost' on All you can Quaff to get the cheevo, pretty lame :P

Battlefield 1943 and lots of it. Just waiting for my friends to get it so we can have a squad.

Ever notice how close to no one uses their microphone in Battlefield 1943? I can hardly find an open squad either. Too many Lone Wolves out there?

It's a throwback to the original. Mic chat wasn't part of the game, and nobody ever spoke, except in vent or (lol) teamspeak to friends. Hardly anyone even typed.

They're just trying to recreate the experience, man.

I have not been able to get into a 1943 match yet. I'm not trying for like an hour straight or anything. Everytime I have tried, I get the "game is not available" message.

ironic that one of the few games with dedicated servers is performing the worst. If this was P2P like most other games would we be having all these issues?

@McBeefington

what's the Sucker Punch item tracker thing on inFamous? Anything like the Spider-Man web of shadows? In that game after you collect like 500 icons it puts the rest on your mini map.

Well I don't play GTA for the story, and I don't know very many that do. We play it to do all the stupid crazy shit that was in San Andreas. Rockstar's downfall will be them taking their games too seriously.

I agree with you, Andrew Yoon. Comet Crash was a really great game that I never heard any buzz about. It got great scores, but that seems to be it, which is a tragedy!

So, everyone, go buy Comet Crash.

Battlefield is getting better. The first day was completely frustraing-- taking half a day before being able to play, the second day was tedious-- sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't, and today I'm able to get a match after 1-2 attempts.

@Casey: If you're interested in getting into board games, I'd check out boardgamegeek.com if you haven't already. As for Small World, it's a territory grab game and fantasy-themed with different races like ogres and dwarves. Supposed to be good and tactical but not too rule- heavy.

Catching up on Battlefield: Bad Company and Nazi Zombies tonight. Tomorrow is my friends graduation party, so no gaming there, unless you count getting buzzed and talking to complete strangers a game. And hopefully I'll be playing Left 4 Dead and unlocking more of the hard achievements on Sunday.

playing with the members and leaders of a clan i'm trying to get into in CoD:WaW and hunting monsters in monster hunter freedom unite for me. god, that clan is hard to get into. you need a 1.70+ K/D ratio and you have to beat one of the five leaders to get in. if you lose to all five, you can't try out again. i beat one leader, but it was a warmup game so it didn't count. i lost the second time. ugh...

also, there's another problem holding me back from joining the clan. my connection's been freaking out lately, so my K/D has been fluctuating like crazy. it's been floating in between 1.68 and 1.83 because of my relatively new account. it's ridiculous.

oh yeah, and i'm heading to ATL on sunday to check out a house i'll be helping to design. it's pretty easy work, and i get 5% of the profits just for standing around saying "yes" or "no". and 5% may not seem like much, but when you get 5% of 24,000 (about the average for full house redesign), you see how good of a job it is.

Tools of Destruction. I don't think a Crack in Time is out yet. Wanna beat this one before that one. Yea I'm excited I played a demo in Best Buy and the game is just plain gorgeous. I think it still holds up as one of the best looking games out there period, even though it was released relatively early in the current console cycle.

Well Gamefly shows me again by skipping the first 10 games on my queue and sent me Tomb Raider: Legend. I guess I'm to blame for putting a game I beat a year ago on Gametap on there, but I did enjoy it and I want to eventually beat all three TR games on 360.

Also, I'm playing TES: Daggerfall for the first time(thanks Bethesda!). And it needs repeating for the millionth time in ten years: God DAMN is this game huge!

I'm, uh, still stuck on Morrowind. Aside from Rock Band 2, which I bought for myself as an early birthday present, I'm pretty sure that Morrowind will be the only game I play for quite a while.

Whenever I'm done with Morrowind, I'll probably just move right on over to Daggerfall, which Bethesda released as freeware yesterday. I finally figured out how to work DOSBox, so I'm pretty psyched about that.

Finishing up Metroid Prime 3: Corruption to lighten up my backlog. Also hoping to get in some InFamous.

I downloaded the trial for BF 1943 on the 360 first but it didn't let me join any games. I then proceeded to download it on the PS3 and played the entire time with absolutely no problems or lag.

It really is a lot of fun and hopefully they fix the problem with the 360 server since all my friends play on the 360.
